My favorite place to eat, always check their daily menu options. Cuisine is mainly Hungarian but with a twist. Daily menu is always based on seasonal foods. 100% recommended!

The ambiance and approach of the good old coffeehouses and restaurants is mixed with a highly inquisitive kitchen using widely colourful ingredients and flavours from all over the world.
The service is more of a friendly type, inviting guests to become regular.
With it's weekly changing seasonally actual menu and the strong basic menu they have always something to satisfy your taste buds.

Breakfasting as a tourist in Budapest, this feels only a little like a tourist trap. The English menu was appreciated but you pay for it with the prices. I had a 1990 HUF breakfast with coffee, juice, bread, 3 spreads (egg cream, crackling cream, and spicy cottage cheese) and fresh vegetables. I can recommend the breakfast and the crackling spread was particularly interesting to try. The side salad was appreciated but could do with more salad vegetables and less onion-y shallots. I did not like the automatic service charge because as an Australian, I think tips should be given only for good service.

Perfect place for a nice diner or breakfast. Suitable for vegetarians (I can recommend the tapas plate). I do not rate 5 stars because the squid in my husband's seafood plate was a bit burned and because the place went a little bit noisy (although this was probably because we were sitting next to a table with a group of people). Still this is a very nice place !

Good food with reinterpretation of traditional dishes. I suggest to try the dessert. Service is ok. Best if you have a reservation.

Have eaten here twice and I'd keep coming back. The selection is excellent and portions are great. The shrimp/asparagus risotto was amazing and the pork ribs with sweet potatoes was even better! 😀 loved the ice tea as well

This is a cute place with a nice ambiance and solid food choices.
We were overall very happy with our food - the squid with chili sauce was yummy (and better than the squid special), potatas bravas hit the spot, the duck-asparagus-gnocchi special was solid (except the sauce want that great). The coconut sauce that the mussels were in was a highlight and we sopped it up with the good bread they gave (the mussels themselves were only ok). House wine was fine, the beer seemed more expensive than other places we'd been to.response / report this review -

Incredible, by far the best place we ate at in Budapest. The fish tapas mix was phenomenal, you have to try these. Saying that, everything from the food, the wine and the service was fantastic.
