Very old-school, outdated interior, crappy TV, looks like horror hotel in Disneyland.

Nightmare. It was in July and the room had no aircond, the room was small, the ventilation didn't work in the bathroom. We booked for a week. After a stuffy night with mosquitoes we decided to get out of there and moved to an apartment which was 2 times cheaper with airconditioning and way comfortable. I really think the management truly does not care the facility reflects this.

This place is beyond retro, it's downright time travel to the '80s - and not in a fashionable way. Everything is old, from the faded and worn furniture to the scaly and not-too-ergonomic bathroom which resambles those from the the block buildings of the socialist era. The service staff (except for one nice lady at the front desk and one or two waiters/waitresses) looks bored while there is plenty to do, and when someone asks for something, they act with apparent disdain. The only positive thing that is within the hotel's control is food. Their cuisine is great, breakfast and dinner alike. Offers a wide variety of delicious food, from hearty Hungarian countryside specialties to fruits and muesli. Good things that are given and beyond their control are the wonderful surrounding forest (however the hotel's park is unkempt), and the city itself which remains one of my favorite. I heard they started refurbishing the building, starting with the top quality rooms - once that is done and the service quality is improved, the place could become a top place.

Very dated, room clean but dated, lovely staff, some rooms poor washing facilities and poor mattresses. Part of a large group, mixed reviews with many disappointed. Food again a mixed bag.

A berendezések jelentős része XX. századi. A szálloda gépészeti berendezései már rég megértek egy alapos felújításra. A nyílászárók cseréjéről már ne is beszéljünk.
A személyzet igyekszik mindezt kompenzálni.
A wellness részleg dolgozói munkahelyüket féltve nem mernek szólni az oda nem illő magatartást tanúsító vendégeknek.response / report this review -

Friendly staff, great food from the kitchen. Very dated décor, and a bit of mould in the bathroom didn't go unnoticed, but overall I'd stay again.

Actually a pretty nice place with a delicious kitchen. The staff is nice, the rooms are not the most up to date upgraded but clean and tidy. I would recommend this hotel for a short time stay. Great view is included by the way.
