Especially the maneger of the hotel, and the staff of this hotel does not fit to the international brand. I don't recomend to stay or eat here.

I have never slept there, just my guests. They gave me always a positive feedback. I made some trainings there when we rented some rooms. It was allright, the staff (Adrienn) is really helpful and nice. The kitchen is good.

I stayed at the Budaörs Holiday Inn (BHI) a couple of times already, so I can refer to many different settings and situations I experienced.
First off ordering a room via Email or by telephone is no big deal and worked out fine every time. At times when big meetings or congresses are held at the hotel or in the rather close Budapest-area early reservation is advised!
Depending on occupancy there's a fee for the parking garage but there are parking lots in on the hotel-plot - so no big deal at all.
The lobby an receptiondesk are typically for Holiday Inns and look really nice. The staff is friendly, helpful and many different languages are spoken (the staff wears little pins with flags depending on spoken languages).
Rooms are big enough, A/C in every room, free WiFi included, beds are nice and comfy, laundry-service possible (fee), restaurant is in the house, tennis court, bar, family-friendly and massage (external contractor - lead time necessary).
TLDR:
PRO's: free parkinglot (sometimes garage), nice staff, big rooms, big&comfy beds, A/C, free WiFi, some possible exertion for fee.

CON's: rather expensive, often fully booked, location (next to Highway/Mainroads,Tesco)

Very friendly and helpful staff. Recently refurbished rooms are pleasantly decorated and have a very comfortable feel; upper floors and sauna area somewhat dated. Quality feel to reception etc. Breakfast area large but plenty of food choice **if you wish to have a quiet breakfast get in early before the coach tour people arrive** Only complaint is they are a bit quick to clear up - went for another coffee to find newspaper removed and table relaid!

Mixed feelings about this Holiday Inn. The quality of the hotel in furniture, fitness, business corner etc. is even lover than Holiday Inn Express. Price is as high end accommodation especially if you consider that hotel is way far from city center. However the staff is very nice and very polite, one of the best I even met.
So pluses:
+ Very good for access by car (highway just next door)
+ Polite and great staff services
+ Coffee maker on room
Minuses:
- far away from city center
- no shuttle bus to center thus very expensive to get there if you are not by car
- overpriced
- nothing additional in services (no gym, no executive room, no business center)

For IHG club members - do not expect any upgrade or anything above welcome points as there is no better rooms etc.

If you are going to visit Budapest and want to see the center or have meeting in center - go for another hotel. You can find in a center much better equip, modern and way cheaper hotel than this one. If you just driving through and need a sleep over, it may suit your needs.
