The location is really good, especially if you need to go to the airport, there is a direct shuttle bus (100E) that go nonstop to the airport every half an hour. the staff are friendly and the room are clean and large. the view to the central museum is the best :)

Complicated entrance (look to the left, press 10, wait, door will open, get to the next gate, press 10, wait, gate will open, take the elevator to floor 2, and then you can check-in). Guests can only receive ONE KEY per ROOM, and it is in an apartment building. Anyone travelling to Budapest would easily miss this hotel right next to the big Mercure in the next building. You could only see this hotel on Street View in November because the trees are covering it in other months. But I am giving two stars because the room was big and looked nice, there was an A/C (it gets hot in Budapest) and the hotel is right next to a Metro Station and a Tram stop in a very central area of the city.

Every night at 2300 management turned off the air condition and back on at 0500.They then turned the AC off at 1000. It was 38 degrees outside so sleep was not possible. Management said they "had problems with the AC" but that was obviously not true since the AC stopped at the same times every day. The receptionist looked very unhappy having to lie to the customers. The hotel is trying to save money on electricity and this ruined our vacation. Also there was a lot of noise from the other rooms and the elevator needs to have its door oiled. One day we had no cleaning in the room. If they stop turning off the AC during heat waves and fix the elevator door and enforce the hotel's no noise policy it could be a 4 star place.

It is a unique hotel, but the bottom line is that I left, after four nights, with a bad case of bug bites. Didn't know I had them until I left or I would have said something before leaving. I was in room #6. I could not find a website for the hotel with an email address so had to resort to this public announcement. The public needs to know. The hotel, to protect itself, needs to give customers another channel to communicate or one must resort to a public review.

I loved this place. Near to metro, market hall, the center of town everything are around of this hostel. I recommend this hotel. If I come again Budapest I will stay here again.
