  Nice hotel in the hills of Budapest. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful view over Budapest from the balcony. And the price is excellent, good value for money. Excellent public transport connections to the city only 10 min on foot. Good restaurants some 20 min from the hotel on foot.

  Recommended.
  At this day our experience was not perfect, but we are still regulars in this hotel.
  
  The view is stunning from the proper rooms, the vibe of the place is just relaxing. Breakfast is good, reception is kind, for this price I can recommend this hotel with an easy heart.

  Very nice hotel with friendly and help-full staff. Hotel need some reconstruction, but it was clean and a view was fantastic. It is located in very quiet location with lot of trees.

  The Budai Hotel is definitely a place to stay if you don't mind that the nearest public transport station is about 8 minutes of walk and 20 minutes of bus or tram ride from there to city center (by the way you can get to the center of Budapest from that station without changing lines), if you don't mind that the hotel is not very modern (no AC for example) and you can have only breakfast ( if you are visiting the city is not an issue because you'll have lunch and dinner in other places anyway). Here and there is a clear mark that it should be renovated. Nevertheless it is a reasonably clean place and priceworthy. The staff is very friendly and they will assist you with everything they can to make your stay as pleasant as it can be. I will surely stay there again. As a bonus from the terrace a beautiful panorama delights your eyes.

  Being nice, have a good view and being easily reachable by car is good mas you need more. The overall quality of the building could use some restoration work and a better decoration, but more important and cheaper: better cleaning, way better.
