I hired the car from their city center office and dropped it off at the airport. It was a hassle free experience. The gentleman who served us at the time of hiring was very helpful. I would certainly recommend their services.

Very good car rental company! We decided to hire a car in Dubrovnik for a day at short notice. So we called Avax car and talked to Dino. He was very nice and helpful and could organise a car right away. Everything went very smoothly and we enjoyed a great day! Thank you very much!

The car was as expected, however I booked my car pickup as 0800 based on the listed hours of 0800-2000 not knowing entirely when I would pick up the rental car or what my plans in Dubrovnik would be. I received a series of very rude texts asking where I was & why I hadn't picked up the car at 0800. The person who had been texting left Avax to go to the airport & was not there when I arrived. The Suzuki sales man (in the same space) was able to adequately help me, but the texts were very unprofessional. Rental car companies I'm accustomed to using have never been particular about customers arriving exactly at the stated time of pickup.

We rent a car for two days and everything went splendid!
Special thanks for Frane, who was in contact with us in every situation!
The car was quite new and worked very well. Good was also that we could cross the border to Montenegro without any extra cost.

Collection of the car from downtown Dubrovnik was very easy. Staff were friendly and helpful.
We had some difficulties returning the car in Split as the location is hard to find at the Ferry Port, particularly in our case due to bad weather conditions. Would definitely recommend.response / report this review -

Returning the car was fine and the officer was very flexible (office Dubrovnik center) nevertheless the airport office (where I collected the car) was hard to find. Furthermore the car was dirty, it had not wiper washer and it had a warning about tire pressure.

The car was great (brand new!) and it was fantastic to have the flexibility. However two things which weren't ideal:
1) We got the car with zero petrol which when you are in a foreign country and you don't know where the closest petrol station is, it is a nightmare - especially as the light was already on; much prefer getting a full tank and leaving it full.
2) We were told we could not return the car a day earlier and there was no willingness to consider this and/or reduce the fee at all. The downside of not renting through a corporate rental firm where this is never an issue
3) When we wanted to change the dropoff; this was a negotiation and they wanted to charge us more than the rental - it was a pity that they didn't just have a flat fee as the experience really soured as a result.response / report this review -

Avax was so great to work with. They were easy, understanding when our pickup and return times changed a little, and very helpful in getting us on the road. The communication was easy, and our car was clean and in great condition. The only hiccup we had was that the GPS did not work properly. Other than that, it was wonderful. Highly recommend.

We rented a Suzuki Swift and were extremely happy with it. The service was great and it was very affordable to rent with Avax. I would give 6 stars if I could because we could even pick up the car in Dubrovnik center and drop it off at the airport for no extra charge (an additional driver and border crossing were also free of charge).

Simply amazing! Affordable prices with very transparent and lovely customer service both online and in person. You know exactly what you're getting before you've even made a reservation. Border crossings to Bosnia & Herzegovina and Montenegro were made simple at no extra cost. We returned our car after office hours and the rental manager was kind enough to drop us off at our hotel. Definitely recommended!

Il servizio è eccezionale, Azra è stato sempre molto gentile e ci ha dato molte informazioni utili sui nostri spostamenti tra Croazia e Montenegro. I prezzi sono tra i migliori sulla piazza, le vetture sono nuove, pulitissime e in ottime condizioni estetiche e meccaniche. Davvero un'azienda consigliata per chi decide di spostarsi dalla meravigliosa Dubrovnik.
