I had planned a vacation in September and wanted to rent a car to go to Montenegro, Bosnia and to Split, Croatia. I almost gave up on the idea after seeing the reviews for car rental companies but then I found Dicovery Car rental and decided to give them a try. I am very happy I did! This company was very helpful throughout my trip! When we arrived at the car rental location we found out that manual transmission car had been reserved for me by mistake and I needed a car with an automatic transmission. They quickly resolved the situation without attempting to charge me extra for my rental. Upon returning to Dubrovnik the company provided me with a way to purchase a bus ticket to the airport and allowed me to keep my bags at their office for a reduced price. I cannot be happier with the experience I had renting from Discivery Car Rental. Give them a try!

Great service. We were met at the airport by a man with good english and explained things clearly.

We had a clean, reliable modern car and we paid for it on our return.

No issues. Returning car was straightforward! Would recommend!

Completely statisfied! Very straightforward, uncomplicated and friendly transaction! The car was in great condition! The only negative part is the location It's quite hectic, because it's located right on a really narrow main road.

Susie helped us get a car to Montenegro for a day trip. She offered a price that was lower than the rentals at the airport gave us, and the place's location right next to the Old Town allowed us to start our day right away instead of heading to the airport first.

She was also very flexible with the pick up and drop off times which we really appreciated. Also open in February unlike a lot of places!

Great service and price. I rented a car to go from Dubrovnik to Mostar for a couple of days and Ivan was very helpful over a couple of email exchanges. Unfortunately I was involved in a minor accident as I was returning the car but the team was very easy to work with and calm. Luckily I had full insurance, the accident was dealt with promptly, and Ivan even gave me a ride to my next destination since I was behind schedule.

If you are looking for a rental in Dubrovnik I cannot recommend Discover enough.

I used to work for a car rental company, and I've rented in Europe and America before, so I know first hand that sometimes you will just get a bad vibe from rental companies like they don't care and would rather not even have you in your office.

My experience with Discovery, however, was flawless. They gave me an awesome price, the car was clean and well maintained, they even worked with me after hours to drop off the car when I changed my itinerary. I had no issues with the car and it was exactly what I needed. Ivan and his team did many things to make sure my rental experience was convenient and painless.

Discovery is one of the fastest growing rental companies in Dubrovnik, and it is obvious why. There is no corporate BS, just a classic customer service oriented owner-operated business. When I come back to Croatia I will not be renting from anyone else, and hopefully Ivan will have expanded even further by then.

If you're coming to Dubrovnik and you need a car, there should be no doubt in your mind regarding who to trust with your money (if you've ever been to Croatia before you will know how important that statement is).

We just rent a car in Discovery Car Rental while staying in Dubrovnik for 7 days. We got an exceptional service from its members! They were always eager to help and responded to all our emails and requests within just 10 minutes. Also, since we do not drive manual car, we got an automatic transmission vehicle which was great. All recommendations!
