Fantastic and affordable rental car service. We collected our car in Split and dropped it off in Zagreb. The customer service at MACK was outstanding, fast and efficient in both locations. Our car was perfect! We will certainly be using this company on our next trip to Croatia!

We rented a SEAT hatchback on Easter weekend for the drive back to Dubrovnik by way of Mostar. Slavko Lolic, the General Manager for the Split office, was gracious and very patient with us given that we were virtually unable to text or call (we communicated via e-mail!) He even met us late on Saturday - ahead of a two-day Easter Holiday - and again on Monday morning to accommodate our pick-up. The rental was fair, honest and the car was without any problems. And the price was quite competitive - 80 euros for the rental, supplemental insurance and a Dubrovnik airport drop-off. Thumbs upthanks, Slavko!

We have relatives in Croatia and we go to visit them at least once in a year and we extend there for a holiday. We are using M.A.C.K.'s services now for fully 4 years, after we had inconvenient situation with worldwide known brand, not worth mentioning. Usually we start in Zagreb and all way to Dubrovnik. Excelent service, helpful and reliable stuff in each office. Great cars! See you soon again.

We ended up having to rent a car from Mack because Hertz overbooked its available cars and did not have a vehicle for us. As a result, we were quite unsure about what to expect from Mack, but were pleasantly surprised by the service and the quality of the car (BMW 1 series). The process went smoothly and we were able to drop off the vehicle in Split without any delay.

The best price we found at the airport in Split. The new car, clean and perfect condition with a very low consumption. The friendly and helpful staff. Flexible repayment schedules with the car. Really recommend

Never, under any circumstances, use M.A.C.K. for any reason. We rented the car in Zagreb and returned the car in Split today. We assumed all would be fine. But no. The agent at MACK charged us almost 300 dollars for "damage" to the rims of two tires. We never had any accident, never heard any noise. And in any case, the scratches such as they were, were normal wear and tear when you drive any car, and incredibly minor. The reasons he suggested how it could have happened were laughable. It is obviously a scam. They want to get more money from you. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY.

Everything goes smoothly during the entire process as well as all details are clearly addressed. The service office is right next to the main square, which can be very handy. Most importantly, the manager provides fantastic service with her thoughtful assistance and also professional attitude. It is recommended very much when you are in Croatia.

A genuine, honest car rental company focussed on delivering quality over quantity.
Mack car rentals in Zagreb downtown offered us a brand new BMW X1 M sport edition instead of a convertible, Elizabeta(the lady handling the office) gave us complementary GPS and most importantly shared valuable knowledge and information about what should be done in case of an accident(this is of immense value in a new country), the car was superb, absolutely clean and tidy, everything was top notch.
Hand over the next day in split was absolutely smooth, in fact they even dropped us off to the harbour in the same car, now thats Really thoughtful and rare, I had heard car rental companies being shrewd and ripping people off but Mack was the exact opposite, we were overwhelmed to say the least. So much so that we decided to rent a car again on our way back from Split to Zagreb a few days later and a quick phone call to Elizabeta was all she needed to make a brand new BMW 320d M sport available for us. Once again this was a brand new car had some 5-6000 kms as much as I remember. Unfortunately while driving this car we met with a small accident and the car was damaged a bit, in this difficult situation, the agency went out of it's way and helped us get back safe and handle all the formalities. This is rare business behaviour and just tells me that the people at Mack know what they're doing and are a class apart when it comes to not only renting out cars but also helping in dire times. I give both branches 5 stars and would definitely recommend it if you want a seamless, reliable and secure experience.

Mack car rental has more or less hiden fees. The prices are almost the same as other big rental com,pagny such as Hertz, but with a very bad service and old. Becareful with the one way fees which are incredibly expensive. If you can, use another rental car compagny. Please read the folowing part in order to know the story.
'I rent a car to MACK car rental from the 30th of august until the 2nd of august. I was traveling from Split to Zagreb. I booked the car via the website VIP car. For 3 days, I booked a Twingo for 168 euros with GPs. The pick up location was Split, and the drop off location was Zagreb airport.
I was very happy and confirmed the location. When I came to pick up the car, in Split, the manager told me that I have to pay for the GPS which was 15 euros per day. I was a little bit suprise. Then he asked me to check my voucher. And surprisingly, the voucher indicates only 120 euros plus additional fees like the GPS. So I said ok. He was nice, and offered it to me at only 10 euros per day. I said ok. But at the end, he said you have to pay 100 euros more for the dropp off in a different location.
So the total prices was 250 euros which was close to what you have to pay in Hertz or Europcar for example. I forgot to precise that the VIP car website took me also 20 euros more. The total prices was 270 euros. He also tried to force me to take an additional insurance since the franchise is fixed to be 1000 euros. ALso, they did not have the Twingo. He gave me a Golf TD. Hopefully, I had this car. This car shoudl be aproximatly 5 years old or more. The tires were at the limits. There were many bumps on the car (you can Wonder what is the use of the franchise. ALso, the car had 106000 km. I can"t imagine how was the twingo car.
Now, I took the car and drove for one day. I noticed that somethin was wrong with the GPS. It was swithching off like this for no reason couples of times. every time I had to swith it on and reset it. ALso, sometime, it was unable to download the map. Once it did not send me to the exact location. I was not far, less than one km, but it was the exact location while the adress was right. The last day, I wanted to fill the car with gaz. I asked for the closest gaz station. It was mention to be at 1.2 km away. In reality it was close to 5 km.
Anyway this GPS was not working correctly.
Once I arriveed to Zagreb airport, it was really the mess to park the car. There were so many rental compagny in the parking, and nobody knows the MACK rental compagny. So I had to leave the car in a forbiden parking.
Once I gave back the car to MACK, I told them that the GPS was not working correctly and I want a refund for it. They chekc the GPS for 1 minutes, and said that it was working correctly. I debated that they can not check it for 1 minutes. They need to drive with it and they need to go deeply to see that it was working correctly. Finaly, they wanted me to meet the general manager of the compagny. I was unable to wait since my plane was in 1h15. They told me that they are going to contact me. They never contact me.
ANd now, after I contacted them, they claim that the GPS is new. Maybe the definition of new is a little bit different in this compagny, since when I see the damage on the car, I would not rent a car like this.
In conclusion, if you want to rent a car via MACk, you are going to pay the same amount than other compagny such as HERTZ, and you will get an old car for this with a very bad service.
