The hotel medena is set outside of seget. Whilst the hotel is old in style, it is currently undergoing refurbishment. The reception area is open and spacious and staff are very helpful and friendly. Out of season the bar does not carry a full selection of beverages and the onsite pizzeria and pool bar were not open. A 5 minute walk through the garden path takes you down to the beach area where there is plenty of choice to eat and drink, tours, hire sun beds, etc. You can also get the ferry boat to Trojir from here - just check the schedule as it varies depending on season. Outside of the main hotel entrance is the bus stop with easy access to trojir and split. The new refurbished rooms are lovely with a fridge and kettle and air conditioning. The facilites at the hotel include wifi, swimming pool, tennis courts, volley ball and football pitch, etc. Once the refurbishment programme is complete - this will be a lovely place to have a vacation with all its facilities open and available. Very enjoyable and relaxing experience.

Did not stay at the hotel, Ryanair flight was delayed, was taken here for breakfast. The food was cold and bland the fruit juice was so watered down you could not taste the fruit. Room looked ok but was only here a couple of hours.

Had to stay one night due to a storm. Dinner buffet was under all critique, and the breakfast much the same. Selection was tiny, no fruit or vegetables. Barely something to drink. Staff was not helpful or inviting, seemed like the hotel guests were a nuisance. Room was dated, carpet stained, shower curtain gross and pillows were lumpy and old. On the plus side, couldn't find insects or bugs.

The hotel is located on a very exotic location but it isn't that luxurious. Its a great place to stay if you aren't spending much time at the hotel. The hotel staff is a bit lousy but they have a beautiful beach. The pool wasn't functional at the time of my visit. You can exchange currency as well at the hotel. They also provide local bikes on rent and you can go for some water sports as well by booking them on the counters at beach.

Bathroom is pretty bad and smelly. Access to the beach is not suitable for people with babies and pushchairs. Road to the beach is very dark at night. On the other side the food is great, rooms are ok, with aircondition, swimming pool is very clean, a lot of trees and shadow on the beach, a lot of bars and entertainment. Beach is rocky and it is almost impossible to enter the water without some shoes.

Hotel has a large number of rooms and occupies a large space. Only the upper floors more resources from the Hundred Years of Mediterranean vegetation. For so many rooms and floors of the hotel is insufficient number of lifts. There are also several dependance of the hotel by the sea. Although redecorated still does not have all the necessary elements to obtain more categorization. Most hotels oriented tourism in the Adriatic classic room is paved but this hotel still holds carpeted making it very difficult for adhering and not hygienic. Beach is excellent and offers the possibility of different generations enjoy the fine gravel or stone, as well as numerous activities at sea. It is linked to the excellent local transport to Trogir, there was a bus trips according to the established timetable. The staff was correct, the food is satisfactory. Parking space is not covered. On and around the beach there are several nice restaurants with a very good offer.

stayed here in October so very quiet but had a nice stay and the food was nice (but average) the local bus stop made it easy to get to the small towns and split very easily, even saw dolphins from the balcony! a nice hotel and would recommend.

Kind staff, too bad the old apartments are awful. Smoke stuck in the furniture and bed bugs.
They are renovating everything though, so things are hopefully a lot better when they finish.

Great hotel and apartments, nice beach and food offers, but beach is always windy and cold. Not a problem for northern people though.

Hotel is a little too big for my taste and it needs to be renovated.. However, the food in the restaurant is very decent and so is the nearby beach.
