Old fashioned hotel with still a bit of character. Staff at reception has been always friendly and helpful when needed. The square in front of the hotel can be quite busy with young crowds, sort of loud, throughout the night.

We had so good times in the early nineties on the occasion of visits at Rijeka paper mill (unfortunately this mill is permanently closed 😞).
To be here was always fun.
We have always got fresh fish, best local vines and a great service.

Not bad, reasonably priced, and quite central. Staff are a little surly, there was no toiletries in the bathroom when we arrived, and the breakfast will be familiar to anyone who has ever stayed in cheap European hostels (cheap salami, hot dogs in water, yellow things vaguely resembling eggs), so if you can afford to, skip breakfast there and head into town.
