We have just enjoyed 2 nights here. We got a big sea view pitch, the campsite feels really woodlandy with lots of trees and the beach is nice. Staff were friendly, they allow dogs and there is a quick and easy bus into Dubrovnik old town - note to dog owners you cannot take dogs on the bus so you must either walk (1hr) or get a taxi (€8). It is expensive and the facilities are terrible - it's an enormous campsite but the facilities are all located centrally so you could end up with a really long walk to shower/wash dishes/empty grey waste or toilet etc. There also aren't enough laundry facilities for the size of the campsite. The campsite really needs to get these issues addressed and there is surplus space to do so (namely the weird run down ampitheatre space). This didn't upset us too much as we only stayed 2 nights in a campervan but if we were staying longer (or were in a tent) it would drive us mad and spoil our holiday somewhat.

Overprieced, esp. the washrooms aren't worth. But very close to the Old Town and good connection by public transport. No place to stay. Take your time for the beautiful city and go.

Price is on the higher side. Facilities are ok, not great not bad. Tent spots are good. Perfect location near the city center.

Overall nice camping, but there are few showers and wc-s. There was some sort of concert on our first night, even though the camping advertises itself as a quiet camping.

We had some doubts because of the bad rating and review. Price is high, but dubrovnik is just expensive. If you want to see it, be prepared to pay up! Everything costs at least 20 euros (wall entry, gondola, bars, restaurants). Pitches are good, only some rocks. But dubrovnik is build on a gaint rock. They cannot be removed. Sanitation is fine and busline is really easy. Just expect to open your wallet and enjoy the beautifull city.

Convenient location, fab beach but Wi-Fi is very erratic and unreliable unless you are within 10m of reception. Use if a nice pool at the adjacent hotel.

If you ever want to have the feeling that you have been ripped off go camp at Camping Solitude in Dubrovnik. This is THE most expensive campsite we have ever stayed at and we have been to many throughout Europe. Our bill for 2 nights camping which included the one off usage of their washing machine and drier for our clothes came to 100 Euro !! We (just the 2 of us) put up our own tent under a little tree (OK they must have planted this at some time) had 2 showers each and that's about it. What we paid for I'm not sure. OK it was our fault not to have asked the price when we arrived (were travelling by motorcycle and we arrived at about 5:30 in the afternoon and the temp was about 33deg, feeling VERY hot and bothered). Just wanted to relax. The lady at reception when I booked out was very apologetic saying that Yes !!! the price is very high. The prices in Dubrovnik as a whole were very high.

Great camping with a lot of pitches. People are very friendly and helpful. You can take a bus tot the city center which drops you right before the city gate!

Too expensive!!!
In September 2 adults and one dog, a car and a small tent: 45 euros. We refused and found another camping (Kate) MUCH cheaper (16 euros) with all the services we needed.

Camping for 1 night to visit Dubrovnik is ok. Staff is not that friendly and the camping is way over priced.

Good location to visit Dubrovnik, city bus stops a couple minutes walk away. You can visit the pool across the street or the beach down the road. However, the camp site is really old and the facilities in bad condition. They already put toilet containers next to the reception to extend the two existing showers in the main building. The outdoor dance floor seems to be a relict of the good times this campsite might have seen. The days I've been there in mid August, only few guests shared the campsite with me. The old dance floor became a kitchen for a group of young people in the night. Maybe they danced after their dinner.

Big camp, but big prices too. Traveling by bike, just 1 tent, the price was 32€ for 1 night (the highest off our travel). If you look cheaper place, 1 new camp is existing 500m after, half price.

Expensive, but it's the only camping to visit Dubrovnik (good connection by bus also during the night). The main beach is quite awful and crowded, but there are nice small beaches you can easily reach by 5 mins walk.
The camping market is super-expensive, but there are two discounts nearby, look for them.
