Quite nice hotel. It has everything you need, but it could have been more modern. It needs improvement. The food was really good and the location is great. Everything is very close. The staff is really friendly and the prices are average. Conference room is spacious and good.

Great hotel. Great location. Friendly staff. Well positioned to stay for a visit to the old town, or terrific facilities if you want a resort on the coast you can just relax and do nothing. It's a win-win situation!

The location is absolutely beautiful with the beautiful Adriatic Sea just outside the hotel. However that's as good as it gets. The room was dusty, dirty and tired with the bathroom having a chipped and scratched bathtub, a shower that floods the bathroom with water and cheap fixtures in the bathroom and bedroom overall. There was mold or damp on one of the walls, bedside light fixtures loose, dirty windows, filnsy door handle, a couple drawers in the wardrobe that were not able to be used due to the wardrobe door handle hitting the hotel room door handle. Service was poor, staff had attitude, room service food was lukewarm and our order was wrong, there was heavy construction work going on from early morning until late at night. This is meant to be a five star hotel however at best it's a three star and there are far better alternatives to the Rixos Hotel Libertas which are higher in rating and better in service.

Hello to all! It was once a 5 star hotel. Now it's dirty one with bad smell in the room. I was poisoned with their food and stayed for 4 days in bed after the hospital. At the restaurant, glasses and plates were not properly cleaned, with traces left from previous users. I do not recommend this hotel. Have a great day!

Great place and I have stayed there a few times now. Great facilities, relaxed atmosphere and stunning views. Always enjoyed staying there. Last time I stayed however, it was not as perfect. They made an error which meant we didn't get into our room until 20.00, after arriving at 10.00 that morning to check in! It was the worst communication we have ever had at any hotel we stayed in, resulting into us missing out on our first day in Dubrovnik. When we made a complaint to Rixos they never responded and was never offered anything as an apology, not really what you expect paying £150+ a night :( The hotel and facilities are good though.

We stayed here on our honeymoon, had the suite with the hot tub in the room and private balcony. The suite was spacious and we loved it, some of the trimmings were a little bit dated and worn, but we loved the hotel and the view was magnificent. The room we stayed in had a living room, bedroom and large open plan bathroom with the hot tub. You could enjoy the views from the hot tub as there were floor to ceiling windows around the room (with curtains for privacy). It also had a walk in wardrobe, toilet and shower cubicle. There was jet ski hire from the hotel which backs on to the sea and you can jump off the wall straight into the sea which is great fun too. People we spoke to had returned year after year. The hotel itself has outdoor pools and indoor pool, spa and loads of great facilities and the breakfast was immense. Highly recommend.

Only arrived yesterday. Its amazing, gorgeous room with magical view all very spacious and balcony is large and very private. First impressions are brilliant so if you have any doubts dont worry you will not be disappointed. Have walked into the old town which is not a problem for us as we are seasoned walkers.

Great location - not in the middle of the Old Town crowd but close enough for a good walk or easy bus ride. Great room- large with veranda facing the water. If you like "all inclusive type meals" they are really good here. We were not on that plan but chose to eat here a few nights. Staff was super nice and attentive. We had a few issues with the room that were no big deal and dealt with right away. Cannot beat the beauty of the pool/seaside accommodations either.

We are not staying at this hotel but we did spend the day there. We paid 100kuna per person to use the pool area and pool bar and restaurant. It was really nice with use of free towels and a great choice of comfy sunbeds. We had a look around and it was very nice with a well equipped gym and indoor pool and spa. Liked it that much if I ever come back to Dubrovnik I will stay there.

Fantastic hotel! Great views, and lovely place to tan and swim. The spa calls a hairdresser upon request and she's PERFECT! The pizzas are good too. The rooms are spacious and clean. The give a treat everyday after cleaning, fig cakes or orange peels. Tina at front desk was perfectly helpful and sweet. Would definitely come back again. Great place to rest and be pampered for a while.

In theory you pay for sun loungers but I got away with it( not a paying guest) . Nice pool. Dearish food but good quality. Friendly staff.

Absolutely loved my stay here in late July. On arrival a glass of champagne is provided which you can enjoy looking out at the Adriatic sea and Lockum island. The rooms were clean, spacious, well equipped and the bed was incredibly comfy. The breakfast was a real treat with lots of options and the opportunity to sit on the sun deck to eat. The staff were helpful and an excellent shuttle service was provided to the airport at a reasonable price. The pool area and easy access to the beach either via a ladder or by jumping in of the cliffs were a particular highlight of the hotel for me. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough and I would most definitely return if I was to visit Dubrovnik again.

The hotel property is really lovely and our room was really big with a great terrace. The reason for the three stars is that I was disappointed in the service at this hotel. For a 5 star hotel, I expect exceptional service but we didn't recieve that here. Our check in process was poor, no help from porters and the lady at the front desk almost seemed bothered by having to check us in. The service at the restaurant was also poor, not once was I offered coffee in the morning, I had to hunt for a cup every single day. And even after being asked how the service at the hotel was and honestly answering, we saw no change at all. Housekeeping wasn't great either. Towels were never folded, dirty cups and utensils stayed in our room for days and it just didn't feel like someone came to make up the room except for the bed being made. Again, the property was lovely and some of the staff was very sweet but overall we left disappointed and will not be returning.

We have had an excellent holiday. Only thing that was an issue was people booking sun beds with towels and not coming back for some duration. Room very uncomfortable, view stunning and food choice at breakfast and dinner superd. (Even for vegetarians) Staff very friendly and helpful. It is our second stay and we will definitely be back! C

Hotel which definitely do not deserve 5 stars in many aspects. Starting from the entrance parking lot is always full of cars blocking other vehicles and when you do manage to find a spot you have trouble parking out. Staff is friendly especially the bellboy. Too much orientation to big groups and conferences which undermine the quality of service. There are three elevators for guests which work in a very very strange order so may end up waiting for a 10 minutes or more at a time so the stairs are much used by the guests which is just unacceptable for a 5 star hotel. Rooms are ok but again in 5 star hotel it's all about details but here you often find wires coming out of the wall, rust on the balcony doors stains on doors.. bathroom door is of glass and it don't fit to door frame so there isn't any privacy when inside. Food variety is very good especially for breakfast. Indoor pool is very small and the outdoor pool is being reconstructed at the moment so expect work in progress. No beach in front of hotel except for the exit on the rocks which apparently serves as a beach. Room view great, straight to the seaside. Great value off season. Definitely don't recommend for in season because of high price which doesn't correspond to what you get for the price.

Impressive view through the glass parts of the hotel, beautiful interior with carpets all along the hallways, yoga and handstand workshops with international teachers.

Large hotel, focused a bit too much on companies and conferences. 15 minutes from old dubrovnik by foot. Good local bus service though. Make sure you get a sea view.

Started here for a long weekend in March, it's off season, but that just means it was great value. Hasn't really looked at the hotel much before the weekend, so was very pleasantly surprised when we arrived. It is a large hotel with spectacular views over the sea, has fantastic facilities including a decent gym. It's only a twenty minute stroll to the old town as well. The rooms are very nice and the bathroom in ours was very well appointed. A great start in a very nice hotel.

Nice room but would not stay again. AC wasn't working and I called twice to ask to fix it, both times reception said its winter (it is mid-March) so there is no AC in the whole building. Its still really hot in the room and we had to sleep with our doors wide open. One of the elevators is also broken and the beach area of the hotel is closed because "its winter" even though it is 65 degrees. Breakfast is great though and included in the room price.
