Nice and calm hotel, good place to stay. Everybody is very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast, although dinner in the restaurant was not so good.

Good value in good location close to city center. Only few minutes away from the restaurant area. Great breakfast to start the morning. One star taken out due to outdated rooms when compared to those more modern hotels around Europe. My room was anyway clean and well maintained.

Nice hotel near the city center of Zagreb. I have a junior suite which was spacious, clean, and very affordable.
The hotel itself is not new and shows a bit of patina here and there. All facilities are working though. Well, maybe with the exception of the lift which takes ages to arrive. I rather walked the stairs.
Breakfast is okay, not spectacular though. Parking is convenient in the back of the hotel.
All in all a recommendation if you are around.response / report this review -

vVry nice hotel near the old town and the center of Zagreb. The hotel has good and very helpful service, breakfast varied and interesting. Very good price for a reasonable price! I would recommend if you are on a short business trip or have stayed with your family to get to know Zagreb. The location allows you to reach everywhere by foot a few to dozen minutes.

Very nice and pleasant hotel. The location is pretty central, it's just a few minutes to the main square. There's cold lemon water and iced tea in the reception for the guests and there's always a piano playing in the background which makes it very relaxing. The breakfast is good and has a good variety of things to eat.

From the moment my wife and I walked through the door the wonderful staff were warm, friendly and helpful. Our room was fantastic, with a comfortable bed and well appointed mini-bar. Our free breakfast the next morning was sensational with both hot and cold options available.

Hotel Astoria is a very good hotel to stay in for a few days visit to Zagreb. Facilities and service are good and the hotel is situated within walking distance of many tourist attractions, restaurants and bars both in daytime and at night. Car parking is available in an enclosed area at the rear of the hotel. Staff were helpful in answering our questions and about places to visit. The hotel is good value on many levels and we would not hesitate to book this hotel again, if ever in Zagreb again..

Very cozy and located in the centre of Zagreb. Staffs are very friendly and breakfast in buffet style was delicious. Wifi connection was very good too. The only con part I found was the wall socket isn't placed next to the bed in the room I stayed. Anyway I would definitely like to come back here to visit Zagreb again!

Efficient and pleasant staff. Tajana at the front desk was good and Marina in the dining room was excellent and friendly. Buffet was huge and varied, with plenty to choose from and good quality. The room was clean and large, but the shower was pretty small. Decor was a bit dated, but not in an unpleasant way. Call it perhaps "faded elegance.". Loved the player piano in the lobby and complimentary ice water. Perfect location, and quiet even though it is on a busy street because of privacy blinds. The parking is secure and private.

- Small, but comfy.
- Great selection for breakfast.
- Convenient location: close to tram to get to the bus station; nice walk to the city center.
- So much to see in walking distance.

Perfect hotel to be in Zagreb. First and most important everything interesting is in walking distance. Second - closed (safe) parking just behind the hotel and than rooms are really nice and on the end all this for reasonable price
