This shop is fantastic! Without a doubt you will be pleased diving with these professionals.

They have a staff of fantastic lady dive masters that are like the Charlie’s Angels of Scuba!

It’s also unique because the dive locations are moments from the shop, and between your dives you can go back to the dive shop and enjoy snacks, coffee, and hang out.

We were treated SO well and are very glad we didn't just opt for the Carnival excursion, and found our own. Courtney taught Julian so quickly and nicely, and was such a delight to dive with. She also instilled in him how much fun it is, and he's stoked to dive again. He's 12 years old, and will never forget this wonderful experience.
It was well worth the drive across the island to that lovely beach at West End. Huge thanks to Courtney and the rest of the staff! The photo of the 2 of us attached is a bucket list for me - and perhaps my favorite photo of my lifetime. I used a $60 GoPro type knock off from Amazon which worked wonderfullySO glad I chose West End.

Excellent diving!! The instructors and staff were all phenomenal and the diving was incredible! I was pleasantly surprised by the health of the reef as there was very little bleaching and tons of life. The weather was pretty terrible with the rain and waves but once we were under water it was great! I got a little sick from the choppy waters on the boat but they took care of me at the dive shop in between dives. Our second dive was at the wall which was stunning. Much better reef health than much of the rest of the Caribbean, Japan, and a lot of Hawaii.

On a side note, the transportation to the dive shop from the cruise terminal can be vastly improved.

Our “driver” picked us up in an unmarked, un signed, extremely dirty old car. After much debate we finally agreed to get in and we headed towards the west end. Without ANY warning he pulled to the side of the road in a rough part of town, got out of our car and hopped in a van across the street and took off out of no where two younger guys get in the front seats and begin to drive off. My wife and I, absolutely shook and confused, open the doors and hopped out of the vehicle. Who are these guys?! After about 20minutes of them trying to convince us they work for west end (poor if any English) they showed us their dive card showing west end certified them. With a LOT of trust we reluctantly got back in the car for a very nervous 20 minute drive to the shop. It was a terrible and frightening experience for my wife and I.

We can now look back at it and laugh considering the diving was superb but what a traumatic experience!

West End Divers was very accommodating. They picked us up in a Minivan and had a private boat ready for us to snorkel and dive. They made you feel very comfortable and were very knowledgable of the marine life. There was also a restaurant above the dive shop which was great to grab lunch looking out over the water. I would not hesitate to dive with them in the future.

As a PADI MSDT instructor myself I can tell you from traveling all over the world and seeing many dive operations West End Divers is a very well run and excellently staff operation. After doing my wife’s confined water training at home we came down to West End Dives to finish up her open water class, and her Instructor Courtney was great and didn’t rush my wife at all and made her feel very comfortable. Manon the manger communication was great before we came down and also during are stay. If you are planning on going to Roatan to dive I would highly recommended West End Divers we will certainly use them again on are next trip.

West end divers was recommended to me and I can see why! What a great time I have had getting my open water padi. The staff have been great, making the whole process easy. They selected some great sites and unfortunately the one day had to call off some dives due to the weather( tough but right call). I will be back next chance I get to continue my scuba training. Thanks Courtney, Gavin, Manon and the rest of the staff that took care of us getting back and forth to dive sites.

Dove with Edwin Bush for a week. Most boring dives of my life, uninteresting and lame. Hit on me when my boyfriend wasn’t around, totally unprofessional and made me uncomfortable the entire time.

Great place to dive. Peter took my husband and I out for the Discover Scuba Dive. Super affordable for what you get. He was very helpful and a nice guy. We really enjoyed our first diving experience. The shop is kind of an open spot for the diving bums to hang between dives. They offer free coffee/water to their customers. Everyone was really cool to chat with. Can't say enough good things. Next time we come to Roatan we will be diving with West End Divers.

West End Divers is the ONLY shop I will dive with in Roatan. They have not only the best staff but they are extremely affordable. The team is very professional but know how to have a good time! I highly recommend them for anyone looking to have a quality dive or snorkeling experience!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING DIVE SHOP. I wanted a last minute vacation and was traveling alone. I researched all the dive shops in Roatan and found that West End Divers had the best lodging and dive package in Roatan. They limit dive trips to small groups of 1-6 divers. The boats go out daily at 9:00 AM, 11:30 AM and 2:30 PM. I dived the first few days in small groups and on slow days where I was the only diver they allowed me to request different dive sites in the area to better cater to my interest. The instructors, dive masters and boat captains are very friendly and helpful.

Absolutely LOVE IT! I stayed up the road for 2 weeks and did my Open Water and Advanced Open Water certifications with this dive shop. Equipment was great, the staff was helpful and thorough.

I left all of my equipment with them the whole time and they took really good care of it.

BEST of all, they have a prime location! They use boats to get you straight to various dive sites. It's a 30 second boat ride from the dock to most of the diving you will do. I cannot sing enough praises for the location and the friendliness of the staff.

They also have a cafe on the top floor that has the best COFFEE in West End. Best lunch spot around without breaking your bank.

I highly recommend diving with them. I hope to come back soon and check out their freediving training and go on some more night dives. Keep it up guys!
