Unit 1 is the most perfect unit it's the best kept up one and it is the best place in West End close to everything yet far enough away it's quiet

Great location in west end. 5 min walk into town and can even walk 30-45 down to west bay on the beach if you want.

Expensive . but penthouse #6 is worth it. Stop at supermarket in Coxen hole after leaving airport . Grab food and liquour and you are set up for the week. Rooftop deck view is very nice + private pool and kitchen with fridge and bbq, plus a 4th bathroom on the rooftop. All 3x bedrooms have bathrooms. Gteat experience wish we could have stayed all week! We will be back next year.

Very nice villa, everything stocked up and nicely set advise such as certain toiletries, towels and cooking/eating utensils. But the fridge leaked water from the melted ice in the freezer. This Villa gives you the option to cook, or even barbeque if you are on the top level, since you have rooftop access. Access to the resort is a bit sketchy through a small pot holed passage way, but after along the beach it's easily visible.

Heading back to Villas Del Playa again this April. This will be our third stay at VDP and we love it. My wife and kids rank Roatan #1 over Hawaii, Cancun, Florida Keys and Jamaica. The reef is by far the best we've seen EVER. My kids and I are SCUBA certified and my wife isn't. The snorkeling is almost as good as the diving. Villas Del Playa is located perfectly. Close to West End but not too close (5 minute walk). The Villas have very large kitchens and bathrooms. We've stayed in Villas #1, 3 and 5. #5 has it's own pool on the roof deck but there's another pool down at the beach level. Very clean, safe and comfortable.

Love the place and the location. Although we will never be back. If you are looking for a nice relaxing vacation then make sure you look into who is renting the other units first. As I am writing this there are about 20 screaming children outside my bedroom door and that's been the case since the day we got here.There should be rules for the common areas shared by renters. One being respectful of the other people vacationing and two keeping noises to a minimum. It's absolutely ridiculous. I would never recommend anyone come here for a peaceful gateway. It's a shame because the place is beautiful and we visit every year.. I think it would be in the best interest of the owners to come up with some rules for their renters so that everyone can enjoy themselves.

Perfect penthouse condo #5! Perfect location! Just a five minute walk into town. Perfect rooftop terrace with full kitchen, private pool and bathroom. Perfect sunset views. Perfectly comfortable and clean accommodations in the condo. Eat and fish with Roatan Anglers which is just 3 doors down towards town (Cynthia can really cook). Make sure you go into town on Friday evening/night. The whole island shows up and the local food is amazing and everyone is so very friendly. Ask the locals where to buy the “corn rice” made with coconut milk, best dessert on the island.
