Is a private paradise away from the crowd
Just back from a wk. in Roatan (3rd yr in 5) . We stay at Infinity Bay and had Kismet @ Meridian recommended. We travel as 8 couples. 2 of us did a recon one afternoon for beers, loved the location, little cove on the water. We ate there twice, 8 of us once and 4 later in the wk. EVERYONE was HAPPY! Staff ( Afon and Alex )were as great as the food & ambiance, small, maybe 40 seating, on the beach. Great alternative to the nice but ultimately sameness of west bay/west end, with the exception of "Lotus". Meridian is beautiful, QUIET and SO different from west end
complexesno vendors, no tour crowds., Would recommend food and drinks there 5 stars anytime. For a couple, or those wanting a quiet resort who do not want to have the snorkel/ swim beach walk options of west bay right there, it looked perfect. Not far from those activities but getting to and back from Meridian could be challenging.read steep hill up, down and of course back. We rode thanks to Meridian but as they get busier you should figure cab or car needed. There is still building going on but the place is beautiful and worth considering for a stay and absolutely for the restaurant. Gave 5 stars, but again, only had the pleasure of staff and restaurant.
Stayed here several times. It is located at the end of the island, which I prefer. Roatan is a whirlwind of resort and island folks, and this is a peaceful respite from it all. If you need more excitement or restaurant choices, you can simply walk or drive to west bay or west end.
Lo ago porque solo e ido una bes
Zero stars . We were ripped off 2000 US dollars by the staff entering our room all caught on camera . And nothing was ever done !!! as soon as we left the country the owners of the property refused to respond to us . Never again !!
Property is under construction. The lobby is unfinished and their is no staff on site - no bellman, front desk, concierge - nothing. All you hear is hammering and tile saws, starting at 7 am! Not relaxing at all.
