Really nice resort very peaceful. We had bungalow 168. Staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back. Snorkeling was excellent and so was the weather

The resort is beautiful, the food is good, they are generous in their alcohol The resort is clean, and big, and relaxing. My only comment is that it's isolated. So if you want to relax, this is your resort. But if you want to do excursions and explore I wouldn't recommend. The excursion price are expensive! We took a taxi, who was way more reasonable

We had a great 10 day vacation here. It was clean, food was good, service was good, location is really nice. Scuba Dive shop on site is very convenient if you're into that. It's a little off the beaten path so excursions can be a bit involved. We spent our days scuba diving so we basically stayed on the resort. Overall we were very happy with our stay here.

We were there for Christmas and New Year and this was the worst ever! Do not choose this place, over priced horrible service, horrible food, insulting "hill rooms" 19 square meters for 2 people - in the place apart from resort that looks like a shack and were workers sleep! And all this at the price higher than regular rooms.
The room inside was dirty and dusty, no fridge or closet for clothes. small bed if you are tall your feet will stick out (more than 6 feet tall). Some blankets you would get an instant rush from just looking at it I did..
We had to move to another resort and paid extra. And they refused to reimburse us for any of these. Horrible place.
Newer again will we go not even close to this place.response / report this review -

The resort is small. Everything is pretty clean and tidy. The stuff is friendly. Some of them speak English very well. The beach is clean, located in the bay, so the sea is pretty quiet. Looks like a mini Paradise, but beware of parasites: we had been viciously bitten by sand flies/fleas. They say it depends on the season, but there is always something. Management do not spray with insecticides.
The food is tasty but the variety is pretty scarce. We had the same menu with little variations for the whole week. On the Christmas eve there was a completely different menu, though :-)
The entertainment is pathetic. Looks like it's done by the same people who wait tables there.
There are 2 pool tables and gym. No tennis tables or courts.
The snorkeling is very good though. There is also a dive shop there.
All the rest of activities are outside and if you want to book it from the hotel it costs a fortune. They accept credit card, but if you pay not cash they will charge you $10(US only) more. The tiniest car to be rented is $100 and it's a challenge to drive on this car on the only road (full of potholes) they have on the Roatan island.
And finally, the internet is not reliable at all. It works sometimes in the lobby only. Also we have the phone in the room, but it was out of order and we could not even call reception. There is a TV. After a few days it ceased working, but they replaced it really quickly.
In general, not a bad place to stay if you want just sea, beach and sun.response / report this review -

Really nice place, great people. Snorkeling off the site was great. Not a diver so I can't comment on that directly. The resort is starting to show its age, but it is kept clean. More then one small bar would also be good.

Best place for snorkelling and diving. None of my other travels have ever topped my experience here. Absolutely love the cabin-style suites.

Come here if you love nature and snorkeling/scuba diving! The best place myself and my all my friends have seen so far
It's a protected natural park, so it comes with some aspects that some people won't appreciate. If you are a princess, stay away. Cabanas need some maintenance but they do the job and the A/C is very good! Food is nice, better than Cuba, but the buffet is small and about the same every day, so if you're picky, go elsewhere.
The rudimentary aspect of the resort can be very appealing for some, because of it's location (in the middle of jungle) Again, if you love nature (the real one), and you can deal with some downsides (e.g. sea water of the tap) you will love this place!

Loved it. However, if you're a tea drinker bring your own tea, they only provide decaf pekoe and green tea. Also if you're diving bring your own wetsuit (their shorties are ok but they don't have good long ones). The cabanas were great, but no wash clothes or windows that open.

Ok lets start from the begining. This is not my first trip. I know my way arround all inclusive. Cuba, Panama, Dominican Republic, Mexico been there done that.
Upon arrival I had high expectations for that resort. Who wouldnt. The idea of little cabana (little private houses instead of a regular room) has they call is quite charming. But lets be frank this resort makes Cuba look like a high end destination.
Food was good. Beach was good but very small. Pools are nice. Day, cleaning and restaurant staff where very nice. The site itself is clean. Night staff in the lobby is an other story. There is an employe who looks like he hasnt slept in 100 years and customer service is not his force. And neither of them is able to speak english too well.
Now about the room. Upon arrival they gave us a dirty room. Shower, shelf and floor where not clean and the fan had more dust than a sheep has wool. The A/C broke down for half a day but I have to say that the maintenance employe was very helpful. The cabanas are falling apart. A good renovation is in order. A few things not provided by the hotel that you might want to consider bringning : kleenex, washcloth, a bath (if you have a young kid) and souvenirs becose there is nothing to buy at the resort except taxi rides at 60usd from the hotel to the closest commercial center.
Would not go back. Think the Henry Morgan could be a better choiceresponse / report this review -
