Had the best time. My family and I loved the food. The beach was gorgeous. The pool was awesome 😎. Cheers 🍹🏝
The rooms were very nice. The grounds were great. I found the food, more like Cuba than what I expected. Seemed like more of the same, just presented differently. It was quiet (if you stayed in the pool area). Don't like all the Peddlers outside on the beach, or the influx of Cruise Ship Tourists (5000 hit the beach 3-4 days a week) they are quite a force to e reckoned with. But most that was in control of the Staff was good.
Great place to relax and enjoy both the ocean and a pool within 50 yards of each other. Poolside service was a little slow but I was there to relax. Nice that they accept credit cards.
Great experience, friendly staff, beautiful location. I attended a wedding here. I had an all inclusive package and thought it was a great value. The staff are what makes this place great. From reception, to the bartenders, cleaning staff, every one was very attentive, friendly, and in good spirits. Prime location literally seconds from the beach with pools as well in case you're sea shy. Food was decent in the all inclusive package. It isn't going to blow you away but that's expected from a buffet. WiFi could definitely be improved as the didn't have access inside my room only by the pool. Recommended if you're planning on vacationing in Roatan. As far as the wedding goes I thought it was the most beautiful wedding and reception I've been to. Absolutely gorgeous location for everything. Service was excellent as well.
Diving in roatan was amazing. Friendly staff and large rooms. Cozy resort not too busy. Food at the buffet is acceptable, not great. Lacking variety in desserts. Lobster and shrimp at the 3 restaurants were delicious
The food was good, the selection of drinks adequate. I'm not sure on prices because I was there on an all inclusive trip. The beach is nice but be prepared to fend off relentless peddlers.
Nice place; you can find everything you need here. Scuba diving, beach, snorkeling, restaurants, etc. Great place to stay.
The best thing about this hotel is the staff, I meet some really awesome people. The bartender Erick was numbed one, he provided a great atmosphere and knowledge about the island to keep you from getting ripped off on different tours he was helpfully.. he was walking buy and saw that Douglas in guess services did not want to assist us in moving rooms when we asked for a bell cart. Erick stopped what he was doing; got Mr. Do it all Richard and those guys assisted me and my girlfriend on the move to a new room so I just want to give a special thanks to Erick, Richard, William, Ismael and Darwin on great customer service and made the vacation one to remember.
Great place to stay.
We celebrated our wedding there 2 years ago.
Was all very well done.
Prices are a Little high and the rooms are in Need for some updates, but Overall ist one of the best Hotels to be in.
Take the all inclusive package- the Food is worth ist.
Looking Forward to our next stay in 2018.
We had a wonderful stay! Staff was very friendly, food was amazing and the view and access to the beach was perfect! Their pool and private jacuzzis made our visit very pleasant and comfortable.
Do not drink tap water. Must use bottle water for everything. Prices are pretty high on suviners compared to other places I have been.
Staff is very nice and helpful. Beach is beautiful. Water is crystal clear.
Best hotel to stay in Roatan big thank you to Juan , Dyrla and the team of Mayanprincess . Sincerely La Familia Ayala.
Beach is very close, pool area very relaxing with shaded areas and cabanas, service was amazing. Very accomodating. Going during the week with less crowds, buffet options were good with healthy options. When not a lot of people, dinner buffet closes. Need to make reservations at other restaurants on the property which were quite slow.
Beautiful scenery and pool. Hard to get to.
The hotel is beautiful, the staff nice and helpful, the flavour of the food is great but the buffets are normally cold and not great. Very safe to walk on the beach to other restaurants.
"Great Location"
The hotel location is perfect, you're just a minute walk from the beach, they have a great pool and vast vegetation which they make sure is well maintain, this makes the Hotel very relaxing and laid back, the rooms are made of rocks and are big, this hotel is for the whole family or for groups of people. It's very expensive compared to other Hotels that I've been but I guess that's the rate in Roatan.
The people that work at the hotel are very friendly but the service was ok, we had an issue with an Iron and had to ask the front desk for three days in order to get us a working Iron.
The Bedrooms, Living Room, Kitchen and Bathroom were really cleaned, well maintain, we had no issues regarding the room. They had WiFi but it hardly worked in the room because of the materials used to built the hotel, it worked great once you got out of your room.
Overall we had a great time at the Mayan Princess, the food, staff, view and beach made the experience worth it.
We visited in April 2015.
Pretty great. Awesome staff. Beautiful. Good amenities.
Excelent place, beautiful beaches
