This part of the world has not been heavily exploited. It's a breath of fresh air and a very nice place for quiet vacation. The beach is secluded and goes on for miles without interruption. The grounds are spacious and neatly kept. The food is tasty and filling. Pools are lovely.

Very nice and clean resort with courteous staff.
The rooms are kept clean and we did not encounter any unwanted guests.
The buffet is diversified so one can find something to it's taste.
A long beach with no other resort in sight. The resort beach part was kept clean.
The A La Carte Italian restaurant decor is charming and the food OK

Pretty nice place typical of central American travel destinations Food was good, beach was nice, rooms were clean, a little dated decor but that was not the reason for being there Honduras is still developing their tourism and it is a country that has the highest murder rate in the world for a country not at war. Be smart about what you do and you will be safe.
This location is a destination for locals to holiday as well so a plus if you are able to communicate in Spanish. You will enjoy yourself here if you have any adapting skills If you are looking for a 5 star high class place you may walk away dissatisfied

First thing we saw was the beautiful mountains and many flowers. The second thing we saw was a defunct, rotting swamp you call the kids water playground! So very sad that you still advertise it as a working, fun filled water park! Shameful since it's been gone for many years!!

Great place to spend a couple nights, villas have tvs in every room, cable channels included with mostly Spanish channels, a couple English ones and some have subtitles. Staff is friendly and generally helpful, during my stay English speaking staff were only available during daytime hours. The beach is very large and clean, barely anyone was out the entire time we were staying there. Only complaint was the buffet, food was not always cooked well, I did get raw chicken one of the nights. Overall a bit pricey but a great experience.

This place blows one bar limited food selection bugs in rooms .You are isolated here as there is nothing near. You are told by Sunwing rep not to leave the confines of resort as there is a good chance you'll be robbed. I have travelled in Central America quite a bit and this place is the worst I have ever been to. Sunwing should do better research and remove this dump from their catalog . Save yourself and don't come here.
