Great hotel, front desk staff speaks enough English to communicate with travelers. Spa and pool are nice. Hotel breakfast is the same thing all week. Walking distance to a few restaurants. Very safe!

All things considered, this is a very nice place to stay. On par with many US LaQuintas, better than some.
This is our second night stay. The hotel is located on the man highway as you enter the city. There is guarded multi level parking with plenty spaces.
This hotel is huge. It is deceiving from the street.
All floors are tiled and clean. No nasty carpet. Only drawback is the kids in the pool, their joyful sounds echo through the hallways. Tonight we asked for a room in the back. It is very quiet however Wi-Fi is nearly extinct. Wi-Fi in the center and toward the front is strong and surprisingly fast.
If you want a nice clean room and don't want to pay the resort prices, this is a good bet.
The staff will treat you with first class service and kindness.
You WILL receive a breakfast voucher that gets you a traditional Honduran breakfast of scrambled eggs, toast, plantains, refried beans, cheese and sausage served as though you are royalty.
    Enjoy your stay. We did.

I stayed here for one night with my family and a friend. Prices were decent(similar to the U.S. about $88 per night, breakfast included). The staff was friendly and they got us a poolside room with pool view, which was nice. The overall vibe of the place felt modern, sleek, and very welcoming.

Room service was excellent. Ordered food over the phone via a menu, and a chef came out with a big platter of our stuff, very pimp :) . The night went well.

The morning was a disaster. We got to breakfast and noticed every other patron was hungover and the staff serving breakfast, 100% rude. There was a buffet but they served food as if one is in prison or in an assembly line. I was ready to just leave the plates on the table and bounce but my family insisted we stay since we paid already. Morning service remained rude until we left.

I would have easily given this place 4 or 5 stars, but the way we were treated that morning until we were out the door was too barbaric and crude for me (I'm an outdoors person too, it's the staff and their rudeness that killed the vibe for me).

Would I stay there again? Probably, it's a decent pit stop to take a hot shower and sleep with first-world luxuries like A/C. If you want 5-star customer service, forget about it!

Check-in was unpleasant, no greeting, no smile from either of the receptionists, absolutely no eye contact, overall rude, seemed as if they didn't like their job. Rooms need maintenance, ceiling joints are visible, there was only one (amazing) reachable power plug in the whole room. There was only one bedside lamp one one side. Tv cables were hanging visible, bed was just ok, we also had an ironing board but no iron. In the bathroom the toilet was old and yellowish, water pressure was good though. My experience at the pool was very uncomfortable, most people were bathing with tshirts on and regular clothes, even some women in underwear, people were also throwing around soccer balls and splashing water everywhere even on my phone, and I was on a table like 3 meters away from the water. Bartender was good but he was the only one in the area so he never showed up at the tables and spent most of his time writing up manual receipts for everyone, frustration was visible in his face and gestures. The water in the pool was somewhat murky, not too much. The audio at the pool is terrible, just a small living room stereo being used outdoors. My friends from another room were denied their open voucher on checkout. Parking space was decent and security there was also on par.

The internet is spotty and slow at best. The breakfast and rooms are mediocre.
