I started my scuba check out dives with Native Sons and I couldn't imagine a better dive trip! Their boats are purpose-built especially for diving and the staff goes out of its way to make sure each dive is thoroughly enjoyable. Heidi was my instructor and she is very encouraging and enthusiastic. I learned a lot from her! Teo was fun to talk to, and he made sure I was comfortable and assisted everyone with the heavy lifting. I will return to Roatan and when I do, I will be diving with Native Sons!

Friendly, professional, safe dive company with Divemasters who value and respect the reef and the ocean. Hannah and Tao were both great at spotting wildlife- a seahorse, a pipefish, a scorpion fish, and a nurse shark among many others. As a Divemaster myself I trusted this company with my daughter and family’s safety, and would highly recommend to divers of any level.

Pretty cool ma and pa--ma and sons?--dive shop. Boat's right on the beach; backflip entry on the reef; they handle all the heavy lifting. They're laid back; they go at your pace and trust you to be sane. Group size is small (I went with 2 others; we had our own divemaster; another couple had their own; one guy was getting certified off the beach, and he was 1:1). Dives were decent, and I'd totally consider doing the same + a night dive with them next time we're around.

Calm, friendly and very professional, as I like to be in the mountains they are in the ocean.

We booked a dive trip through Shoretrips to enjoy while on a Royal Caribbean cruise. These guys came highly recommended and I'm glad we chose them. They offered some great diving experiences and took such good care of us. Roatan has a lot to offer for diving and with the little time we had, they took us to the best places. I'd highly recommend choosing them if you're shopping for a great deal.

My wife and I booked with Native Sons last year on a one day stop off of a cruise ship. They treated us as if we were staying there for a month. Everyone at the shop went out of their way to make us feel welcome and the dives were fantastic. My wife is a realitively new diver and enjoyed her most comfortable and confident dives to date under their tutorage. Nothing but good things to say about all the staff at Native Sons

I did my Open Water through Divemaster courses with Native Sons. Great people, great instructors, laid back atmosphere, no dive factory stuff going on here. The shop boasts the nicest dive boat on the island. Amazing dive sites within minutes of the shop, and longer excursions to farther places are available.
