Stayed here a few times before. They have a bad habit of quoting one price over the phone, and charging more at checkout. It happens every time. Currently L.1500 for a premium room with king size bed. Includes breakfast. That is not a good deal.
Rooms are in bad shape. We bought the most expensive premium room this time as we needed the extra space for our baby. There is nothing premium about it, that we could discern. Our bed was noisy and needed replacing. The electrical nightmare is a joke with extension cords in view just to power the lamps and no options to plug in your phone unless you crawl behind the bed.
They only give you 2 towels in the bathroom, as they are likely afraid of theft, or they don't care about quality service. The sink in the bathroom needs repair.
The staff have a bad habit of leaving windows and patio doors unlocked after cleaning. Not secure. They have a small parking lot with a watchee. The hotel interior echos like a canyon, so hallway conversations and high heel shoes walking are amplified. We always ask for a room facing away from the noisy traffic.
Beware that their pool is often used for locals partying, and that means alcohol and noisy rude people. Usually finishes at 10pm, if you complain loud enough. It's hard to understand a hotel that takes my L.1500 for a room, and then gives people with L.50 the ability to do whatever they want. Makes no sense to me. Are you a hotel or a pool place for party people?
La Ceiba needs better value hotel options as the better hotels in Ceiba are well over $120/night. If you are just overnighting, then I want to save some money.response / report this review -

Muy buena experiencia. La atención es exelente, las habitaciones comodas podrian cambiar los TV pero en general muy bien
