Oh. My. God. The food was godawful. It was absolutely terrible. Not only did it taste bad but also the things that food did to my digestive tract were so horrendous that if I listed them, my post would get taken down. I know that this isn't just a problem with the public services of the island. I have stayed next door at the Mayan Princess; and although the food wasn't much better (although it did taste a little better), it did not make me so violently ill. The room was meh. Shower was pretty gross. The staff was friendlysometimes. Tizziana at the front desk was wonderful. They did speak many languages. That fact is quite impressive. French, Italian, Spanish, English, you name it, they spoke it. The beach was lovely; however, that has nothing to do with the resort.

Worst stay of my life. The people at the front desk have no clue what they are doing. After finally getting checked in I had to go back 3 time to get a working remote for one of the TV and 2 times for a working key.
It is all inclusive, but this means you have NO choice as to what beer. Most all inclusive carry the national brands.
No soap dish in the shower. Towels stains and torn.
I rented a 2 bedroom villa.
No TV in the living room. No sink in what I assume was supposed to be a small kitchen.
They give you two small bottles of water at check in them ask you refill them.
Horrible food except for the fruits
Dirty pools a day beach areas.

If you are there for the day the resort is great however if you are staying overnight I would recommend staying elsewhere. The rooms are very old, specially the bathrooms. It feels like a run down hotel only catering cruise ship passengers who are stopping for a few hours.

The place is nice, the beach is nice, the access to the reef is outstanding. The people are lovely. In particular, this hotel seemed to have some issues with having sufficient towels, and the limited access to potable water was a little inconvenient. The rooms and facilities were very good though, and the value was good as well. Be sure to get of the resort and see the island, it's paradise!

The atmosphere and service is great. Snorkeling excursions from the dive shop are very well priced with an excellent guide. The resort itself is a bit rustic with lots of wood. The food is good but a bit repetitive. Overall experience was great. A very enjoyable relaxing vacation with lots to do if you choose to.

Pros: Good food, nice staff, nice location.
Cons: Salt water in the water system (showers, sinks), salt water pool, aged wooden facilities.
Free WiFi is not available on any part of the hotel.

Place is poorly run. Staffed not thought to focus on clients needs but rather on performance for shows or on wrong side of rules. Food runs out and its mediocer at best. Rooms are not being taken care of. Liquor provided is the lowest quality so they can try to upsell you when u get there. Rooms can be quiet far from being ocean front. In comparison to other resorts Henry Morgan just keeps dropping futher back from their glory days.

Small resort that offers a lot for your money. Rooms are clean, comfortable, simple yet decorated with taste (go for the 2nd floor rooms,with high ceilings). Great variety of food at the buffet. The pool is well kept with enough chairs -sometimes, the pool area gets a bit noisy. Helpful staff. Dive shop directly on the premises. Lovely beach but beware of sand fleas at sunset - wear trousers or apply mosquito repellent generously if you plan on dining at the beach restaurant.

No one reads the whole review, I will be brief. The A.C. took 3 hours to cool the room, shower was in poor condition, food not good at all. Beach is great. Some of the staff is very nice others indifferent. If you tip they do remember you because apparently not many do.

This was a really nice place the staff is friendly and they have a lot of stuff to keep your attention while you are here. The boats are to close to the swimmers though and that is dangerous

I've been in this hotel twice (2015, 2017). It's a nice place to stay at. Food is good and tasty. All is included (food+beverages including alcohol) makes it an option to consider. Doesn't make a 5 because of the pool. Needs improvement and cleaning. Beach impressive though.

Too crowded for a relaxing vacation. Lots of teenagers that elevates the noise and the dining room felt like a high school cafeteria. Probably good for families or those looking for a resort with crowds of people.

Best spot on the beach!! Clean clear water, white sand, 10 minutes from snorkel site, great food, cozy rooms and fun makes this the perfect vacation resort.

this year was my 3rd time at this Resort I love the staff they are all great the rooms not so good beds were so hard was like sleeping on the floor pillows omg i had 3 and they added up to 3 inches not good sore neck everyday as for the food big disappointment same stuff everyday for 2 weeks so sick of chicken the best meal was breakfast when they had bacon the first year we went there the buffet was amazing 3 years later really bad every year we ask for a king size bed have not got it yet the snorkeling is amazing but in 3 year i see a big change people are damaging the coral not good we also ate at a couple of places on the beach omg the food was great the hangover bar and grill amazing burger's and fries so you see you will never starve if they want use to come back they need to give use a good room with a king size bed and big fluffy pillows as for the food we can eat out to thumbs up

We went with 5 couples. Awesome location. Great scuba shop. Beach front rooms are awesome. Other rooms can be great or okay depending which one you end up with. Buffet food is good, but watch out for Montezuma. Staff was great. Bars do a good job . Overall very happy with our vacation. No real complaints Pitfalls - Zumba was bit much / loud . They fogged pest control at 6am each day and woke us up.

We paid $10 per person to enter the beach resort. Our guide, Moises was amazing and recommended this location. The entire area was very well kept and had lots of space to sit and relax.

We did not stay at the hotel.

We were on a cruise, took a taxi here, paid the $10 per adult (kids are free) and had a great time.

Only downside is that there is no beachside food or drink service. The sand was nice, water was great, and plenty of space to roam.

DO NOT GO HERE IT IS VERY UNSAFE. Worst beach I have ever been to in my life. Went there to relax was ready to go within the first minute of being there. People will not leave you alone not even for a second. Every 30 seconds you have someone trying to sell you stuff and cant even enjoy or relax. Was terrified to leave my bags there but finally got in the water to get away from the people who wouldn't stop harassing us. And believe it or not they still harass you in the water. It costs us 80 $ to go to this beach and we left short after getting there. it was by far the worst place I have ever been. I've been to several parts of Mexico, Jamaica, Carmen islands, Belize, and several other beaches. The free beach at the cruise port is way better. The only thing they try to sell you there is alcohol and if you say no they keep walking and leave you be.
