All depends on what your desire is. This is not a 5 star in Mexico. More like a small 4 star resort in Cuba. Great service. Excellent beach driving and snorkeling. Quiet place. Not a place for parties either. Did the trick for us just wanting to get away from it all.

Good only if you scuba dive. Overall, 2*, ran down, no hot water, cold and repetitive food. Everything is so far away and expensive. Horrible drinks and and beer. By 10 pm the whole place becomes a ghost town. Acceptable only if you bring grandma and her friends.

Not fancy, very casual. Good food selection. No night life period. Rooms are pretty standard, clean enough. Awesome spot to spend a few days vacation. Checked in to find 2 monkeys on my balcony. It's a love/hate relationship between the guests, the mostly friendly staff and the resident monkeys. The beach is totally private to the resort. The Resort is aging but how many hotels have their very own large shipwreck a short swim from the property? Well managed and kept clean, even though local Honduran tourists that descend on the place regularly for overnight short stays have no respect for nature and spoil the pristine beach by littering plastic bar cups (Why the hell can't some people learn to use travel mugs or re-use a cup instead of leaving their empties on the sand all day long)? Excellent swimming lagoon ringed by rock. Dive shop right next to rooms- super convenient if you are staying to dive the many sites close by with Chris and Rina: two Canadians who love the area and give great service to the dive tourists. My daughter did her PADI OW and was on the dive boat with the rest of us in two days enjoying two tank dives on multi sites including wrecks. Loved the diving here, boats are spacious and small groups going out twice a day. More dive sites than you can visit in a week. Get an oceanview room away from the lobby if you can.

No hotel guests, but used the snorkeling services through a cruise ship tour. Staff was friendly, snorkeling on reef was great.

Excellent DIVE experience. Beautiful beaches. Food had a LOT of selection. We did not go hungry. Now for the accommodations, no hot or even warm water to shower in. They failed to pick us up at the airport even after confirmation. A lot of very nice employees on resort but need different front desk girls as they do not make first good impression. Our room did not look made up when we arrived but got better as week went on. A/C in room was great. Love the monkeys on site. Not often do you get to carry and snuggle with monkeys. They are trying to do improvements will go back again.

The place is a paradise, has one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been in. Nevertheless, the rooms are sloppy, bathrooms need remodeling. Besides, attention is ok but less from great.

Not your typical all inclusive resort but high on our list, we are here for the beaches and water, food was breakfast lunch and dinner, no multiple restaurants but very nice variety and quality, rooms need refreshed but were perfect for the small amount of time we spent in it, salt water pool but still nice, beaches and grounds were maintained well, great walkways to the different parts of the resort, great snorkeling right off the beach with a sunken ship and plane off the gazebo, fish and marine life galore. We would recomend this resort to those that come for the sun and the sand, if you want a five star room and cuisine go to a big city.

We spent a week here and dove with their dive shop. The hotel is older, so don't expect a 5 star resort (I'd say 2.5-3 star) but the rooms are clean, staff are friendly, the monkey's, and other wildlife make it interesting. The dive shop with Rena and Chris are fantastic diving and dive sites. Beautiful reefs.

Looking on the website especially the rooms may not picture the actual situation! Beach is the only thing to look foorward ! Rooms are rundown and smelly! Food doesn' t meet the all in standards of the island! Service is great but entertainment does not stand out either! Last but not least not the best value for money

I can honestly say that a 1 star is being generous! The hotel is run down, unmaintained and not clean. The smell of urine in the public bathrooms is sickening not to mention the septic smell that greets you when walking into the reception area. The bedding is probably 50 years old and the towels you could exfoliate with. You are lucky to find utensils but you probably don't want to eat what they are serving anyway. This is not an All Inclusive as you have to pay for water, drink's etc
The only thing that they have going for them is the Snorkeling/Diving in the areado yourself a favour and stay somewhere else in Roatan as the Island is Beautiful!

The place is getting old, needs renovations and maintenance. Staff mostly is nice but some really seem as if they're not happy with their job. The beach is simply beautiful.
