this place is awesome particularly because of the beach..I enjoy my time for dinner
Just an unbelievable place to spend a great vacation. Excellent food and staff. Great snorkeling (but not in the lagoon) - go over the bridge to the left of the property (facing the ocean) and get in the water from the dock, then swim out into the ocean and you will see spectacular fish, coral and reef. Completely awesome!
Seems run down as of Jan 2018. The beach furniture looks like its been left out for months and are essentially unusable. The thatch roofs need repair, the beach needs to be combed because the sand has hardened, and mosquitoes have taken over the place (it's rain season). Management is too complacent. There's no public transportation down there so it's hard to visit without a rental car. The walk up to the main road is extreme if you want to catch the route 1 bus and taxis charge $25-$75 to take you places.
Upside: the area is beautiful, the pina colada and nachos are a hit, and they take credit cards.
Resort seems to be in decline. The beach furniture is at end of life as of DEC 2017, the thatch umbrellas are in disrepair, the sand is blown away, and the mosquitoes are fierce. Place should be 4 stars but the crowd seems to have moved on. Fantastic Pina Colada and the nachos we're very good. Accepts credit cards. Private transportation required, entrance road is too long and steep to walk from bus. Awesome place if you have a boat.
It was very private beach with condos that can be rented or sold. Go to the bar and ask for a coco loco. You'll love it.
Awful food. Run down. Eaten by sandflies. Go elsewhere. We ordered ceviche, grilled cheese sandwich for my son which was filled with fake nacho cheese dressing. Nachos were terrible. Ceviche was bathed in a sort of cocktail sauce which tasted more like ketchup. Sorry that we took the time to eat here. Next time we'll stick with Marble Hill Farms. Hopefully we're not sick after this!
Just beautiful! The food and drinks were good too
Quiet spacious resort. Good menu. Bring bug repellent.
Great beach. Very secluded.
I had a great time with my family. We were a pretty large group but we were accommodated and served quickly. The location is beautiful, they have a small salt water pool that is amazing. They have small canoes and paddles for the kids. There's a nice bar w very polite staff. This place is very private nice and quite unlike the west side.
Best resort experience on the island. I had my wedding here in August all my guests loved it.
Our favorite go to beach resort in Roatan Privacy, relaxation, food service on the beach with fresh water pool options Wonderful!!!
Great location but the beach access can be a bit limiting. Make sure to bring some mosquito repellent to avoid bites.
Our tour guide brought us here for lunch and to spend some time in the water. Pretty good fresh food but a little pricey. 4 people was $70. Everyone was very helpful and sweet.
Get away from the busy west end and west bay. Great place to relax and enjoy the ocean. Excellent snorkeling 3 min swim from shore.
