Nice service, reasonable price and good quality of products.
Selection of Chinese arts and crafts much reduced. China resources in wanchai is better
This department store is legendary, been here about 70 years old or much older, selling made in China products only, now it's more diversify.
There are a lot of chinese traditional foods and tea. Prices are affordable. Recommended
Interesting Supermarket with traditional Chinese products and a wide selection of Chinese tea at the top floor. Definitely worth visiting.
If u r looking for tea leaves, u can either go to the top floor or the basement. There are tables n seats for u to taste tea from different parts of China.
Long history, many famous, useful and good stuffs, only sell here. For everyone on this planet who are interested in, especially traditional Chinese stuffs, must play a visit in this department store.
This is a shop of Chinese goods. Expect lost of bright reds, purples and yellows, traditional clothes designs, and lost of dried herbs. They even had a leather jacket designed as a traditional Chinese coat. Things like that aside, the second floor has booths selling local cosmetics. They claim to be made in Hong Kong and use natural ingredients. If you want something a bit more high end and local than what you find in Sasa, may be worth a visit.
A traditional Chinese department store with lots of Chinese goods.
The Chinese hams at the basement smell extreme good.
A large shopping mall which you can find very tradional imported chinese products like chinese silk clothes, chinese calligraphy tools or chinese painting or budda sculpture.
Good variety of selection. Always interesting to visit because new food and snack items are discovered frequently.
I try to buy some high quality chinese tea in HK. On recommendation of my aunti I went to Yue Hwa. The service at the tea department is terrible, it doesn't worth the money. When I ask some question about the tea (taste, origins, price, quality) there is only one short answer with frown eyebrows no smile. At a moment he even ignored my questions! I have a feeling that I need to buy fast and get out even faster. And their product isn't cheap! (Found another place where the service is way better.)
I have to give one star, because I can't give zero stars.
From incredibly cheap to extraordinarily expensive this shop has wonderful products on sale from clothing to traditional medicines.
I always make sure to go to the ladies underwear department and stock up on silk jersey panties and singlets - it is like wearing air. And I go up to the levels above to get my hit of Chinese tea and gorgeous brushes to paint with, I check out the tablecloths and bed linens and marvel over the appliqué and embroidery and sometimes succumb to some lovely stuff. I always end up looking into the lovely displays of jewellery and china and if I can fit it in my suitcase I buy a piece or two. I bought my mother a fabulous rosewood and ceramic Lazy Susan here, it was incredibly reasonably priced and they packed it so well that I was able to check it in with my luggage.
If you can, buy yourself a traditional mandarin collared navy or black or maroon padded nylon jacket for winter, it will be way better than a parker. Makes a wonderful present for stylish nieces or nephews. And spend some time going through the racks of silk robes and embroidered jackets, I love this stuff.
If nothing else browse through the floor of traditional furniture and just draw deep breaths of the lovely smell of wood polish on rosewood furniture.
Hello, Good Morning. Facebook My Friend. VERY GOOD. 😀
Tons of authentic traditional Chinese art pieces, clothing, instruments, games, and much more. Prices vary for each piece but it's all very reasonable.
Great selection for shopping and special deals
Huge store right above the mtr, but you must know which exit otherwise getting lost is imminent. It's a store for specific things I feel, good for a walk around too if you're Western and want to see some Chinese items, but otherwise just another shop that can become quite crowded.
Lots on sale and lots to offer. Here or Stanley market it really depends on what you are looking for.
In general they have countless Chinese products here, ranging from health items, to stationary, household items over to tea and various other things. But I am not sure about the pricing level. For me, the tea was well selected, but too expensive.
It used to be the place to shop for Chinese products like embroideries. Not any more. Stanley market has better products.
I am surprised to see this place is still there after so many years. the product and service may be updates but the sales attitude and directions have more room for improvement. Well, good to know it is still there a place for all the Chinese crafts.
The quintessential stop for locals and tourists for Chinese-focused products. I normally only get items like tea and souvenirs here since the rest caters to a more senior clientele (well, I am getting there, but still refuse to believe it). It has improved over the years, and I give them credit for that. My wife, an American whom visited HK for the first time, received incredible help and service from everyone at the store. She was served many pots of great tea (and we ended up buying some, too) and was helped to get the right souvenirs for her family. We were happy.
