One of the last HK style caffe in central. Decent food, open late.
Famous restaurant in Hong Kong. Good quality of food. Slogan "Don't be Big Waster".
Comfort foods and easy meal (late night)
this place was really crowded and i can see why. my friend and i ordered several dishes including fish balls, curry chicken, eggs and rice, etc. we sat in a communal table and covered half of it. we absolutely destroyed all the food. i highly recommend
Nice and great taste. Like it. Really recommended for tourists to explore the cuisine of Hong Kong. Hk style milk tea has a great and special flavor. Different from others all the world. All foods on the menu have picture and explanation in English. Friendly to tourists.
Nice local restaurant. Good prices, big portions, tasty as well. Should not have high expectations and remember it is a local restaurant.
Everything comes out hot and delicious. Had brisket soup, broccoli with mushrooms, chicken skewers and fried wontons. Would’ve been 5 Star but too many large fat chunks in soup. Otherwise soup flavor and meat was excellent. Definitely recommend. Busy? Yes but worth waiting.
Environment: Busy, buzzling and bountiful of people - so as the rest of HK. Have a tendency to be impersonal but the people watching is fun. Make sure to grab a table where you have a good view of the whole room.
Food and Drink: I would give them a higher score if there were beers/ alcohol/ wine served. The vegetarian dishes we ordered were sumptuous and good for the soul.
Service: You can rely on a quick and attentive service. Nevertheless, it lacks charm.
Chain Hong Kong cuisine restaurant. Abit overpriced compared to restaurants that serve similar food at similar quality, but because it is a big chain and well known name, it's more expensive.
Was there to meet up an old friend for lunch and boy was it busy. I had to share the table with other customers. ordered their prawn with spinach dumpling and noodles. A perfect light lunch. It's a chain resturant that serves Hong Kong local cuisine. Don't expect too much.
Poor service, taste is just around average. I don’t even want to take photos about the food. Waitress put my plates on my napkins, I just hate it!
If there is an option of no star, I would rate this place with that without hesitation.
It’s hard to find a restaurant today treat their customers worse than this one. Terrible services. Waiters are extremely rude and condescending. It ruins the appetite very quickly.
Food quality are just ok but overpriced. There are heaps of restaurants in central can do better than Tsui Wah.
Absolutely a disappointing experience tonight.
Don’t go there if you want to have a good meal and a good time. Not worth it.
Rather lost a bit of atmosphere since its refurbishment. Perfect for a late night insomnia meal though.
Great for hainan chicken rice. Good value. But very pricey and crowded. Good for a quick bite.
I came in at 10:40am not realizing that they only served breakfast menu items until 11am. I had a condensed milk butter toast and milk tea as I waited for lunch hour to begin. Then I got the fish balls and fish cakes with flat rice noodles and the kagoshima style pork cartilage with vermicelli in fish soup. The former was very light flavored while the latter was much more strong. The cartilage was delicious and tender.
I have an awful experience with your restaurant in central. I requested for a glass of hot water when placing the order. The waitress 阿嬌 repeated 5 times rydely and loudly by saying that the kitchen was busy and would take a long time to fetch you the hot water. I was very embarrassed by her behaviour and attitude. Eventally, i was not provided with any hot water. I left the restaurant at 9:31am. Busy? Check it out, please. I expect i hear from you today by contacting me at 9309 4403.
They served the traditional HK breakfast set. However they don't have the typical Bo Lo bun. The bf set is quiet a large portion. Two people to share a set is just nice.
Tourist and after hours typical HK restaurant. Chinese Fast food. Good and easy.
Not bad for fast dining. Wide menu choices although sometimes they replace the good dishes.
Lovely building and decor on the three floors makes this looks like a higher class version of the cha canteng chain but service was slow. Breakfast sets were decent and reasonably priced and we loved the soft scrambled eggs. My macaroni and pork pieces was a little bland but my wife's satay beef noodles were good.
Classic tea restaurant with all the HK favorites. Baked pork chop with tomato sauce over rice is total comfort food. Service is always fast and ideal for a quick bite especially at Central.
First visit here. Tried the milk tea. It's smooth & rich enough without sugar. I ordered toasted bun with butter & condensed milk. Not fantastic.
Lunch time was usually busy but not hard to get seats. Food quality was okay for that price in central. I usually go there if I run out of lunch ideas.
food is ok, service is terrible , a bit overpriced
for that quality
serves at late night is the only positive thing. service is terrible, food is mediocre, options are lacking, decor is nonexistant for the price
Reliable food with good quality and plenty of options. Ingredients are nice and staff are friendly though most do not quite speak English
I don't understand the consistency of this brand. Some joint you will find a refines dining experience and other is basically a hole in the wall. They don't even have the same food available! If it is your only option
