Sad, filthy, and overpriced. Looks like a cross between a garbage dump and an abandoned carnival.

The ostriches are in a tiny enclosure and have all pecked each other’s butt feathers off. Now they look like a bunch of giant, angry, half-plucked chickens standing around. The carrots you pay to feed to the animals are literally rotten, as in turning black in places and slimy all the way through. I could barely touch them let alone give them to the poor goats and boars who were standing in their long-accumulated feces and slurry water. Half the horses are skeletal and the other half look well-cared for. Most of the animals look like they are sick or just depressed.
There were no activities open other than feeding the obese koi and feeding the unfortunate, sick-looking animals in the ‘animal village.’ No net fishing, no inflatables, no kid race car track, no horse rides. But no discounts just because of that! Oh no! It’s still $50 per person to enter. Then $130 per child for the activities. And then $80 parking fee to park in their gravel lot. Plus, if you drive from HK island, an additional $318 in tolls for the tunnels and bridges. So, basically this place is a hell hole.

Perfect escape from the city and a great outdoor and animal experience for children. The Horse stable and strawberry picking (when in season) are a favourite.

A chance for kids to be closer to nature. An alternative to the consumerist atmosphere at Disneyland. Bring your own lunch for a picnic and some bread crumbs to feed the fish and turtles. Strawberry picking, pineapple picking available when in season. Would be better if we can touch and hug the farm animals rather than just feeding them through the fence.

Very bad experience. Everything setup to take your money and charge for strawberry picking at the entrance but there are no strawberries left. Rip off.

Trash everywhere. Animals not in good condition (ostriches were downright depressing). Mediocre upkeep and zero passion observable from any staff. Generally a disgrace in a remote location.

It was winter when I went so many little stalls were closed but some were open, feeding the animals was fun but was not happy that I did not get to play with the guinea pigs

Generally perfect place for a weekend tour.Great for kids to use up their energy and lots of different animals and plants can be seen there.Numerous games to play.BBQ available.Public transportation is a little bit inconvenient, but you can drive there.

HORRIBLE!!! Photos they advertise are heavily photoshopped.

The area is just disgusting, animals keeps in depressing conditions, and many other reviewers say the same.

The website for this place looks great but sadly the reality didn't live up to it. The environment was typical for the New Territories- a bit shambolic, piles of junk around that could easily be cleared away, a general air of shabbiness. The major down side is that the few animals they have there are kept in very poor conditions, 6 emus in a small concrete enclosure looked sick. The goats have a good time running around loose and the strawberry fields looks nice- the strawberry picking was closed when we visited. The restaurants looked good on the website but in reality are poor, edible but the environment again is really not well kept.
