Excellent service and comfortable seating. Food is a but salty for my personal taste. We had stirred fried scallops with vegetables, tofu with shrimp roe, soy sauce chicken, stirred fried choy sum with ginger, and soup of the day.
Went for dinner as a guest of friends and found the food high class and very pleasant surroundings. Will go again.
Great food. Snake soup is the best. Worth a visit. High quality Cantonese cuisine!
They serve decent Shanghai dishes at dinner time and Cantonese food at lunch time. Much quieter than other Chinese banquet style restaurants.
Dim sum is decent, the service is so so. Price is as you’d expect for higher end Chinese restaurants.
I had heard of this place but took a while before I actually visited. Amazing Cantonese food, super high quality, and very exotic items on the menu. Well worth the visit, especially for people visiting HK for the first time.
Great spot for dim sum, don't miss the fluffy char sui bao or the roasted crispy pork belly - soft juicy roast pork and incredibly crispy skin.
Go for lunch and order off the dim sum menu for a delicious, somewhat reasonably priced lunch; this place gets pretty expensive for dinner. The server was professional, but not overly friendly. The pork buns were fantastic!
Nice food. One of the best dim sum restaurant. Famous chinese chef.
Amazing food. Great sevice. Can't speak highly enough of the fabulous food
You need to try the whole fresh crab claw with Winter Melon / Egg White / deep fried.
This kitchen was started by the sous chef from the highly regarded directors' dining room on the top floor of the Hang Seng Bank. It is a leading local bank and their board of Chinese directors are reputed as great gourmets. However, the standard has since gone down. Last evening we were there for dinner (March 18, 2017) and, it has to be said, the duck stuffed with deep fried taro was excellent. The salt fish and chicken fried rice was great although the small amount of salt fish was barely noticeable. But the rice grains did not clump together and the clarity of taste was good. That is saying a lot in a city of sloppy fried rice. On the other hand, braised goose web with pork tendon was sticky and smelly, with the goose web overcooked and too soft. The sauteed prawns with olive was dominated by red and green peppers which really should have belonged to a sweet and sour dish.
Travelled here to specifically try the famous beef fried rice and it did not disappoint. Other dim sum dishes were very good, especially char siu puff. The only thing I did not like was that the cheung fan noodle wrap was wayyyyyy too thick (thicker than the filling)
Excellent dim sum in generous portions. Settle the bill before noon and receive a 20% discount (although the service charge is still levied on the undiscounted total).
Totally over-hyped. Location is rotten. Place is extreme expensive, dishes uninspired & lame. Total disappointment.
