The staff here is highly inappropriate, unprofessional, arrogant, and have very poor character and judgment. I went in for a 60 day vacation Visa. The woman asked me, "What do you do for a living?". I am taking a year off because I am disabled teacher, and just vacationing in Thailand and traveling through Asia. I cannot work. I told her this and she began to smirk at me, and then loudly made accusatory statements to the effect she did not believe I was on vacation. In front of EVERYONE, she smirked "Don't work in Thailand". "Next time apply for a work permit". WHAT? I'm disabled and cannot work. She then proceeds to falsely accuse me of attempting to work in Thailand. I'm like, 'HUH?" "Where is your evidence?" Just because other people have done this, does not mean you get the right to accuse a stranger (who is disabled) of these things. And on top of it, she gladly took my money and granted my visa. Highly disgusted at their unprofessional handling of foreigners. Beware of the two women at the front desk. They are unprofessional, abusive, ignorant, and have just poor character. I would go to Laos or get your Visa in your home country in order to avoid abuse!!!
Fast but staff isn't very friendly :-(
Very easy procedures for visa and staff are very nice.
They are very helpful and understanding.
There is a wait time but if you are in Hong Kong and in need of a visa to Thailand urgently they will help you out here.
Location can be very confusing even the taxi might not know.
Sorry I can't really help with the location much, it's inside the building so just go in and ask the reception. There is a big luxury shopping mall next to it that sells lots of brands in case they tell you to come back in a few hours!
Highly inappropriate and poor character. I went in for a 60 day vacation Visa. The woman asked me, "What do you do for a living?". I told her this and she began to smirk at me, and then loudly said in front of EVERYONE, "Don't work in Thailand". "Next time apply for a work permit". WHAT? I'm disabled and don't work. She then proceeds to falsely accuse me of working illegally in Thailand. I'm like, 'HUH?" "Where is your evidence?" Just because other people have done this, does not mean you get the right to accuse a stranger of these things. I've never worked in Thailand, nor plan to and don't want to. My advice would be, do not go here for any Visa because you will be falsely accused of things when you have done nothing wrong and give them money for it. There is something truly wrong with this place when they feel they can falsely accuse a disabled woman of working. At this point in my life, I don't appreciate of being accused of illegal activities by an arrogant self righteous woman who just took my money for a vacation Visa and threw in a bit of bullying and abuse for her own gain. Even in Thailand if you accuse someone of false things, you can get in a lot of trouble. In fact I wouldn't advise anyone to waste their money to get a Visa here. I will not even be back to Hong Kong after the way I was treated. Oh and I will be filing a complaint about this woman, who mocked me and smirked at me for discrimination (for my disability) Shame on you! Truly Disgusting Experience! I also love the fact that the two women who run the counters act like the gate keepers to Thailand and attempt to embarrass Americans, and people from the U.K. when they apply for a Visa. This woman threw receipts at people. This is why your arrogance will never allow you to succeed and grow like the U.K. or America. Hong Kong is a disgusting ignorant country. Have fun being swallowed into China. That is your Karma!
Friendly staff and efficiency! Just Prepare your document well and remember only apply and collect visa in the morning.
Very quick and efficient as long as you bring all the required documents.
Apply in the morning beginning at 9AM and pick up the visa the next day also in the morning.
No need authorisation letter to pick up for someone else, just make sure to bring the receipt they gave you when you submitted the application.
Very helpful amd friendly staff
The officer did not speak fluent English and confused me a little bit. There is no photo copy service as well, you have to walk a long way to get your files copied.
I got my tourist visa without any problems. First appointment was to bring passport and copies (the whole process took less than 15 minutes) and the visa was ready the day after (5 minute to pick it up). Officials were nice.
Soy mexicano y SÍ es posible obtener la visa para Tailandia en Hong Kong, asegúrate de llevar los documentos que piden en su sitio web (febrero 2017).
Service here is non-existent!
I dropped off my passport and paid my Visa fees and was handed a scrunched up blue piece of paper and told hastily come back tomorrow morning
The next day I went back and they asked me for the apointment slip (scrunched up bit of blue paper). As i was not told to bring this with me I hadden't, one would have thought it was a receipt as they scribbled $600 on it.
They started making a big deal about it saying we can't give you your passport without it then i was ignored and they continued serving other customers. Until I got visibly angry she then got the Consul Maes Suwantra to come and speak to me who basically said how do we know you are infact the owner of the passport (WTF like any immigration agent does look at the photo). I even showed him other ID. He insisted that I go file a police report that I lost the receipt
These guys are first class drop kicks and I will be filing an official complaint when I return home.
Finish filing the form and submit within 15mins. will get the visa by 1 day. Great! Thanks!
The service is very poor. We are seeking advice on immigration information regarding our travel but the people is reluctant to give us an answer. He rush to end the phone with very rude manner. I am very disappointed about this and for sure will not visit Thailand again in the near future.
