An interesting place to visit if you love to see and learn about old medical equipment and practices. This museum chronicals the advancements in medicine that we're achieved in Hong Kong from the 1800's through today. They have some fun exibits. The enterance fee is cheap which makes is a must see and it doesn't take to long to walk through.

A very interesting visit with very detailed exhibits. I highly recommend this place to famillies that are visiting Hong Kong as it has a lot of information that you can't find in other parts of the world. A good experience!

A very old building housed the medical museum. Exhibition materials are very old, also covering some history of epidemic control during the early years of the territory. The location of the museum is far from ease of access by public transport.

Temporarily closed until Feb 2017. Walking there from the closest MTR station leaves you looking like you've just walked out a shower.of sweat.due to the long uphill climb.

Take a taxi or Uber for about HKD 30-40 instead if you want to avoid the climb, but you might miss out on the little shops along the way up that are always interesting to look at.

The Sun Yat-Sen museum is close by and free admission if you're already up there.

This used to be a Pathology Institute where the laboratories of the Medical and Health Department was established. Now it becomes a museum showing the history of medicine. The old equipments were no longer used and it demonstrated how the medical services of Hong Kong advances to become the top three most efficient health care systems in the globe.
