Excellent food, the taste was supreme and the variety really good (vegetarian options as well!). Very friendly atmosphere, we had the delight of having a conversation with the neighboring table ! Pricing was reasonable, if not inexpensive. I would go there again!
They also have wifi available :)
One of the best dim sum in Hong Kong. It is authentic with a modern place. Their service is quite fast. I love almost all of the food we orders. We went to this place 3 times during my 7 days visit. They have english menu. So it is easy for us to order the food. Because the place quite crowded, you might sittinng with strangers but its quite common in Hong Kong.
Taste overall is just alright A few dishes like 潮州粉粿 and 腸粉 are well prepared and authentic compared to many local places. However most Dim Sim dishes are simply gimmicky and just mediocre. The place seems to attract many tourists and has uncomfortable seatings. Price isn’t cheap considering the food quality, seatings, location, and services. Expect to wait even with reservation.
Was great place to have Dim Sum, got there at 945 was a line up started just after we arrived. Got in, got a English menu/order sheet, was quick, great price, and great selection and taste. Would highly recommend.
We arrived half an hour early before it opened so we didn't have to line up. Food was very good! Orders came very fast and you know they were freshly prepared. The piggy bun with custard filling is surprisingly good. Order this for your dessert.
Fantastic Dim Sum in a city packed full of competition. Everything was on point, the service was brash and quick like typical HK style, the food was excellent and the prices reasonable.
Not tasty. Doesn't worth to come.
Siu Mai were so greasy (supposed to be steamed but it felt like double deep fried)
Purple yam deep fried buns with curried chicken were missing the chicken and were too greasy. No flavour at all.
Internet doesn't work. Toilet is dirty, floor is wet. There are dozen of warnings on the wall.
Stuff is unhelpful, you ain't welcome here. They charge 3hkd for tea (you serve it yourself) plus 20% service charge (even with take out), even take out box requires extra 1hkd.
I came here after reading nice reviews but ended up totally disappointed.
Very good dim sum and pickles, opened till 1 am. Staff speaks english. Good price, cheap beer.
Highly popular Dim Sum restaurant in Kowloon which serves a wide choice of food and drinks. During weekends, reservations are recommended because it can get very busy there. Service is fast and the dishes delicious.
Good food
The bill come in Chinese only and It is difficult for foreigners to check the menu. They didn’t give one dishes for us but we remembered it and check so we asked for not paying what we did not get.
Recommend: red pork buns and pineapple buns and green chili with shrimp 🦐
Most delicious dim sum I have ever eaten. I recommend arriving early since there is always a line. We were the first to be served and good was very fresh.
Food is decently priced and the dimsum quality and selection is better than Tim ho wan. Will be making this my new go to place for dim sum. Lines aren't as crazy as well.
Recommend the tripe, eggplant dish, fried peppers, pineapple buns and wanton!
my go to inexpensive dim sum place. much better than Tin Ho Wan! they have more inventive dim sums and always come up with new menu items
Delicious food! Not too much in the way of atmosphere but perfect for a quick and yummy lunch. Order their piggy custard buns and you won't regret it!
Pretty good, but not the best dim sum in town, very reasonably proced
Loved the zhaliang (crispy rice roll) ! The polo buns are awesome too.
Small place but good environment. Very good place to get great dim sum.
Overall: Not bad.
I will recommend for they have quite generous serving for the price. Taste wise is acceptable, tasty but not to the point of mind-blowing delicious state.
Highly recommend getting DDS's own rendition of steamed pork ribs with pumpkin (金瓜排骨). Exceptionally recommend getting their cute piggy custard buns.
Nice dim sum place at reasonable prices. Despite not as many varities as other dim sum restaurants, their dishes r at good quality n consistent standard.
Yummy and affordable dimsum! I liked the chee cheong fun, deep fried milk custard, and siew mai.
Is kind of normal and as other review there are dim sum shop with better taste.
Many foreigner come and try out when I were there worth a visit
Nice food. A few selections but probably not the cheapest. It can get quite busy as they have a small limited space shop. A very tight squeeze. They serve nice and quick. Not a place to hang around in. You eat, pay and go.
I feel this place is overrated. There are better dim sum at better price too. But they taste good.
The dim sum was delicious! I highly recommend the crispy rice roll with prawns and the aubergine dim sum. The fried dumpling w wasabi filling was interesting and palatable! The pricing was reasonable- spent less than 150 hkd for five dishes. Opens from 10am and queues are longer on weekends but they move fast.
Very good dim sum here; we went for dinner, and though we got in pretty easily since we arrived early enough, a line formed soon after we were in there. You do end up sharing the table with strangers sometimes because of the limited space, but the food is definitely very good! They do have some items that you don't find elsewhere, such as a cheong fan with shrimp and fried dough inside! Definitely recommended!
The food was fine, however wouldn't go back for dim sum as none of it is home made. Better value for money to be had elsewhere. With the style of the restaurant and menu, looks to cater to those who view themselves as a more "trendy" audience.
Great place for Dim Sum. It gets a bit crowded so follow Google's advice for peak times and low times. We loved their taro buns. They were cute and hilarious. The peppers with seafood in them, the crispy bean curd with rice and shrimp in it and much more! The place is super clean which is a huge plus. Also, on weekdays, if you go between 2 and 6pm you get 30% off which is pretty awesome.
