As much as the property can be given four or five stars, I think service and staff can be given two or even one star.
I was there for a conference and totally disappointed to see the rude behaviour and service of the staff. Imagine that you are having dinner and someone comes from behind and rudely takes your plate away, without even asking if she can. Imagine you ask someone if you ask someone if there's a tea being served and she simply walks away without even acknowledging.
For me it's a 2-star experience overall. Not at all what someone would expect from a Marriott !

Beautiful hotel and delicious intercontinental breakfast buffet. The only reason why I don't give them the full 5 stars is because the hotel is located a bit too far from the center of everything so it takes some time to travel around. The mrt is pretty close by though, just a few blocks away.

Wonderful service for platinum member. Room at elite floor at the corner is arranged with a great service when checking in.
Flawless clean in room with see-through bath room with double side view from corner room facing to west with river view.
Great view also is observed at club lounge on 31st floor with free flow of drink and cocktail food during 17,30 till 19,30 but beverage only till 21,30 pm.
Good location with perfect service....

Great overall hotel. Nice knowledgeable staff. Quick check in, nice rooms, clean, great views off the executive lounge and decent complimentary food for gold and platinum members. I booked two standard rooms for me and my parents and they upgraded both rooms. Also included is free shuttles to train stations and other places in the area.

Am a lifetime Platinum member. Always stayed here when I dropped by Hong Kong. Room is big by Hong Kong standards with 2 Queen beds. It's a bit far but public transit is nearby. Lounge serves decent breakfasts, evening drinks and fair appetizers although deserts aren't too much to shout home about. Hotel provides free shuttle services to Shatin Mall and TST. One night on reward costs only 15,000 points and go on sale occasionally for 10,000.

Our room (2609) and service has been great. Staff here are very friendly. The location is a bit far out but has access to an MTR. But still pretty far out from the downtown core. There isn't the usual establishments that operate until very very late like little noodle restaurants, tea restaurants, 7-11, etc. Only one complaint with how the Momo Cafe kitchen staff handled the situation. Basically, they were preparing the lunch service a bit early and my 16 month old son spotted ice cream and so we grabbed it assuming it was allowed. Clearly it wasn't, as one of the staff just snatched it from my son's hands leaving him crying. No explanation.

Nice Hotel for business. If you would like to enjoy the HK nightlife you should better look for a hotel in Kowloon. Rooms are comfortable and clean - no complains. Price is on the high side, though.

This review is solely on the lobby lounge food. Quiet and spacious seating in the afternoon, pizza is fresh and hot.. deep fried korean chicken is nice and crispy. Service is slow, but polite. Would come here again for afternoon bites and a slow long chat

First of all I would like to Thank Mr. Ryan Wong and the staff of Courtyard Marriott Sha tin for always giving me an exceptional experience. And would make there way beyond to make sure that I have a perfect stay. And I would say I finally found our home in Hong Kong at courtyard Marriott Sha tin. The staff is friendly and helpful. Free flow drinks plus breakfast and happy hour buffet. I had a really enjoyable stay! Rooms are big and the bed was really comfortable. Even though I live in Hong Kong I really had the idea I was on holiday!

Other than the location of the hotel, everything was nearly superb. Outstanding service and staff earned one of my best review. Complimentary shuttle to downtown Kowloon and ither location made up for the suburban feel hotel. Unlike the traditional Courtyard hotel in U.S., just about everything is compatible or better than full service Marriott. Buffet breakfast at the restaurant is one of the BEST I have ever experienced. It is that good. Try freshly made, variety dim sum there it is GOOD. Everyone there speaks good english which is not to be taken for granted. Definitely one of the best serviced hotel I would recommend to anyone visiting Hong Kong. Best if all, it has best reasonable room rate.

As a platinum card member in Marriott I have stayed in more than my share of Courtyards over the years and this is by far the nicest one I have ever stayed in. In the US it would probably be along the lines of a JW Marriott. Maybe the nicest Courtyard in the world.

We had a room with 2 double beds for 3 of us. The room was a good size. We enjoyed the stay there. The view from our room was good. The staffs there were helpful and friendly. It was less than five minutes walk from MTR train station. There were some good restaurants near the station.

The hotel is simply beautiful! Awesome restaurants inside of it, free bus shuttle to a close by mall and the busy areas. But as a tourist I'm rating it four stars only because of the location . Very very few options to eat around the hotel. Absolutely zero shopping close by. But the hotel by itself is amazing.

This is an excellent hotel. Rooms are big, new, clean and has all the facilities you might need. They also have amazing views. Breakfast is not free but it is really worth to pay it as it is really complete and good. We also had dinner at the restaurant and food was delicious.

Although it's not a typical location tourist would stay, it has very spacious rooms compared to many hotels in HK. The hotel is fairly new and very clean. It has its own shuttle bus to various locations in the city, such as Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon Station. MTR is also within walking distance.

Spacious room. Even standard rooms are larger than most hotels in Hong Kong. Amenities of the room are more than enough for most people's needs. View of standard rooms will be to factory buildings next to it so it means a high degree of privacy and tranquility in most of the time. Gym is moderately-sized and the swimming pool is a precious facility in the area. Not much choices for restaurants in this chain but the shopping arcade attached to it can provide you with more options. Close to a large private housing estate where most of your daily needs can be fulfilled easily. Travel to other parts of the region is extremely convenient by railway or bus. View of the rooftop lounge is excellent and the pricing is very reasonable.

The setup is wow and grand. The location is pretty far from the main Hongkong city centres and hence the commute time is high. The rooms are very spacious and well lit. The view is splendid. The breakfast buffet has a lot of variety to offer - though not much for the vegetarians. The front desk is sweet and courteous and the service is prompt.
