Cleanliness was an issue. Tables weren't always cleared after someone has finished and they weren't cleaned very well. There was lots of garbage and crumbs everywhere. It was not something I had expected from a world class airline.
Washrooms however were clean, tidy, well equipped and had a good decor.

Two weeks ago I was there for a Cathay Pacific flight transit from Shanghai to Jakarta. Since the waiting time is quite long, more than 3 hours, Cathay Pacific gave me 2 lounge vouchers, one for the arrival lounge and the other one for the departure lounge, … so generous !
The Cathay Pacific’s Wings Lounge at Hong Kong International Air port is a Spacious lounge and close to the boarding gates. We can have good quality foods and beverages there, the variety and taste are above the average compared to other lounges (non Cathay Pacific). All area are clean and If you wish to go out for some reasons and want to go back to the lounge, you should ask for "re entry stamp" on your boarding pass. Please make sure your voucher is match to the Lounge class (Business or First class).
You also can entry and re-entry into others Cathay Pacific Lounges at the departure terminal. It’s very beneficial when we are waiting for the next flight connection for more than 1 hour. We can take a walk for shopping and then enter the closer Cathay Pacific lounge for relaxing.
The chairs / sofas are comfortable and easily we can find power outlets around the seating area.

Showers were great here, no lineup like the United Airlines lounge. Noodle Bar was a nice place to get some food before the flight. Lots of pods as well to sit and relax in after eating. Overall, great spot.

Lots of different facilities there for all different travellers to choose from - bakery, hot/cold (oriental vs western as well) food sections, noodles bar, coffee, bar drinks, internet/working area (sort of a quieter zone), family area, shower etc. There must be at least one part of the lounge would suit you. Really a great lounge to chill before flying!

I can't say enough about Cathay Pacific. Awesome flight attendants ,awesome accommodations. Well warned about rough air. But an amazing flight from New York to Hong Kong on several different occasions now. These planes are very clean and up-to-date. TVs on the back of each seat. and just an all-around great experience I have many hours on these planes I won't fly anybody else if I have to go from New York to Asia.

First class lounge is stunning, and if the restaurant and bar (all complimentary, of course) aren't enough, you have access to the attached business class facilities. Could use more private workspaces. The re-designed spa areas are very well done, comfortable, and well-maintained. Service is top-notch (unlike the other Cathay First Class lounge out in the terminal) and it's a pleasure to have a layover here.

Large and nicely laid out lounge with a wide range of foods and drinks available. The seating is a little be limited when busy. I didn't realise until I was about to leave that there's actually a restaurant and another whole area further down the back, through a corridor so it was actually a lot bigger than I realised at first.

Wow what a lounge. Make sure you head straight to the noodles bar and ear there! Skip the western food it was not good at all. The char siu bai, steams dumplings and made to order noodles are the star (Dan dan noodles tasted more like peanut butter). The coffee area with the ice cream and desserts is very casual and the range of drinks and cocktails was quite good make sure you use the shower facilities!

Came from YVR Canada which has a similar lounge with noodle bar and food. Ambience better at YVR but this place is bigger with more seats and variety of food and beverages available.

Great to drink, pig out or just to wait for international flights!

Very good first class lounge - unlike the other Cathy pacific first lounge lounge it is light filled and very open - service is great and the showers are amazing!!!

Fantastic lounge. Well-kept, clean and the service is efficient. The food served here is quite good. Plenty of comfortable seats so it doesn't feel crowded.

Love this lounge. It's immediately to the left of the South Gate. Super quick to get into, the business class lounge has 3 mains areas. A noodle bar (awesome stuff), a coffee area (with desserts and sweets) and the main lounge. Always an excellent selection of reading material.

The first class lounge has a table service restaurant cafeteria, Chinese tea bar and champagne bar.

This is going to be FAR superior to anything you can get in the west but for something evening better than this 5-star lounge, if you can get access, always try and visit the Pier First Class lounge instead. I always try and make as much time for this place when I fly.

Pretty good lounge with different section to serve different type of food. It can get crowded sometimes. Coffee in their cafe section is very nice, especially for jet setters needing the extra caffeine boost. :)

Terrific lounge and among the best that I've been to. Note that I'm reviewing the business class lounge. Appreciate the noodle and coffee bar and other food offerings. The overall atmosphere and views from the lounge are splendid and everything is nicely designed. Also people familiar with the Triumph in the Skies TVB series will recognize the location. Did not find it too crowded on a Tuesday morning. Look forward to trying the other CX lounges one day.

The Wing is an OK lounge. I find other cx lounges to be better though, but it's the closest one from immigration, so most people would go here.. Which makes it quite crowded during peak hours.

“Little disappointed”
I’ve been to this lounge a number of times and have really enjoyed it but am lately finding that their enthusiasm is somewhat lack lustre, it seems to me the staff are more interested in their own goings on rather than the customer, the greetings from the time you walk in are- well there are none, it’s a case of walk in and whilst the staff are in their conversations with each you place into their out stretched hands your invitation without even a “Welcome, please enjoy your stay”. I went to the Noodle Bar and asked for a dish and the reply was quite loudly “Eh?”. I was absolutely disgusted so much so I got up and walked out, I have had better service at the Hawkers Bazaar. When you walk past the main counter from the Noodle Bar to the Champagne Lounge the staff are once again more interested in their appearances than to acknowledge the customer. Coming from a retail background I pride myself in acknowledging the customer even if it’s with a smile. Hate to say it but Cathay you might want to get some of the staff from Japan to train your personnel in customer interaction.

The cabanas are for sure the best part of the first class lounge - essentially a private relaxation suite. The sit down dining area also has restaurant quality food - the risotto we had today was a stand out. This has much improved compared to my last visit although still not as good as Qantas Sydney First Lounge. Overall though, very impressed!

One of the best lounges I've ever been to. Awesome view and great food. Staff members are pleasant and friendly. High grade showering suites. Perfect place to be on transit after a long flight.
