Have been there twice for a bottle of champagne. First experience was great but the second was a bit more laborious, although I called to book they tell you there are no bookings possible and then all tables are booked when you show up (although all empty) It was then long to get transferred to a better table with a view and polenta fries were disappointing. The champagne was very tasty and the view is worth it. I haven't tried their cocktails but the menu looks appealing !

Love this restaurant and the service is wonderful despite us coming with two young kids (1 and 5 years old). The views in the day and night are both lovely.
Food is good, especially loved their breakfast spread with their egg truffle croissant. Their dinner menu, we always chose the steamed fish (can’t remember the name) with rice and vegetables. Kids loved it.

Went for high tea which starts at 3:30pm. We didn't book so we couldn't get a table by the window. This place gets a large crowd even on a workday and the high tea set is good quality. Services was excellent but comes 5pm they rush us out to get ready for dinner service.

Had the NYE gala dinner. What can I say? From the starter to the dessert, PERFECT! A special mention goes to the oxtail consomme beet ravioli and the oh-so-fresh grapefruit soup with bitter chocolate sorbet. They were exquisite!! And the waiters -amazing. They discreetly handled difficult situations regarding the fireworks viewing spots and exceeded our expectations with their friendliness! You will not regret visiting Cafe Gray Deluxe!

Reasonable price for an afternoon tea set with a view. Wouldn't call this a romantic place though as 2 person tables are a bit too close.

Came here for drinks on the 49th floor. The view is magnificent. It is located above the Mariott but it has separate entrance.
Cane back here 1 year later but this time had dinner. The food are good. The staff are friendly and helpful.

I came here on Christmas Day with my family. It was awesome. Unfortunately we spoiled our high tea experience with the complimentary options that were available in the study right across from Cafe Grey, thanks to the hotel!

My favourite restaurant in Hong Kong! Amazing view, nice atmosphere. Food is excellent, especially if you like seafood as there are a lot of fish options. It's European cuisine, not Chinese. I love that they bring out the chunks of dark and milk chocolate and chocolate coated dried orange at the end of the meal. It's the best!

Great atmosphere and the food is excellent. Price is just about right and not a shock to the wallet. Worth it for the atmosphere alone.

Came by with friends on a Friday evening and thankfully had a window seat with an amazing view. The view is indeed breathtaking and the ambience is such that it was not overly crowded.
Finding this place may be a hassle as we went from building to building, going through JW Marriott etc. before reaching the Upper House as we weren't familiar. Worth it.
The drinks aren't extremely pricey for the ambience and view, but service could do with some improvement. It was difficult to catch the attention of the waiters/waitresses as the area was kind of blocked by a sofa seat backing wall. Did not help much that our drinks were forgotten and took a long while to come.
But it was fine being a chill Friday! So we still enjoyed ourselves very much. Good place to come with friends to hang out and enjoy the view for sure.

After visiting in May 2016 and enjoying it so much, I decided it would be a great treat for my partner when were in Hong Kong again for Christmas. He had not seen the stunning views of the city or enjoyed the service and comforts of Cafe Gray. I reserved a table for afternoon and what I didn't know was there was a special Christmas Tea Set which was fantastic. We had Egg Nog or Mulled Wine, tea or coffee, four different savoury sandwiches each, scones, 6 different cakes each for the price for $520 HKD.

For a special treat or elegant afternoon meeting I really recommend this place.

    Weird service..
I had afternoon tea and found some eggshell in sandwich. So they gave me new plate of sandiche floor, so far so good..
Few minites later, a staff asked me to have some more iced tea. I saw the table next to me got new iced tea, so I thought it was kinda service. But when I call for bill, they told me the second iced tea wasn't charged on meaning of apology. Their attitude was quiet dignified. I don't think it was appropriate for place on high level hotel.
(And even hot tea pot was changed after their water refill..)
