Had a 4-hour visit with Dilia, who expertly coloured my roots, gave me streaks, did a moisturizing treatment, cut and styled my hair. She was very polite and took the time to explain what she was doing as I am from Canada and didn't know what to expect. The salon is beautiful to boot. Would highly recommend Dilia without hesitation.

You cannot review Bamboo on their FB PAGE - I wonder why? For obvious reasons I went there to have BLOND highlights done. In all honesty, I did not have that much money at that point in time and the q200 was an attractive price. The owner gave ma a q200 price quote . When I went to the salon, the price went up to q400 as apparently, I required another treatment (never did in 15 years I have had highlights done) so I insisted I just want highlights on my roots - BLOND, LIGHT AND NOT YELLOW. They said fine. After 3 hours they washed my hairit was still wet and all I could see was orange and yellow stains! Well, if you had highlights done before , you will know that if that is what you have on your had after 3.5 hours, it was done badly and not much can be done (apart form applying the foils again). Plus, if your hair is yellow when it is wet, it will be ORANGE when it dries.Yes, I got very upset and literally left the salon with wet hair. When it dried at home, I honestly cried - please see the first photo. The owner initially was very supportive and we arranged a date for a fix up. The owner was initially supportive and said it was the girl's fault and explained how some of the girls come asking for a job and they lie and say they have experience but they do not. She offered for the hair to be fixed.I asked her if she was SURE her staff have the products/skills to fix it, she said yes.
When I arrived three days later, the lady who did my hair before was at the salon even though I asked for her not to be there as it was pretty awkward. Another stylist who worked in the US admitted that my hair is horribly orange and offered to fix it. I was very nervous as my hair is super thin but she seemed to know what I she was doing and we had a nice chat. I spent another 3 hours waiting (while my child yet again was left with a nanny at an extra cost). She initially mentioned using a toner but as she was washing my hair, she commented that it was ashy and all we would use was the 'blue shampoo'. We did that and moved on to applying on a 3 step conditioner . When she left me for a few minutes with step 2 on to act,I went to a mirror and had another panic attack as my hair again,.was yellow! Yet again, the rage went over me and I lost my temper again. I told the lady not to lie and not to tell me my hair was ashy. I left with wet hair, crying again. Yes , for sure , not the best way to deal with the situation but I am sorry, how would you react if somebody was blatantly dishonest with you and also risking your hair falling out. By the time I got home and messaged the owner, the girl had already told her that I had ran out and she did not have a chance to put the toner on (which she previously claimed I did not need). First of all - dishonest again, secondly, no toner would have fixed that yellow shade anyway. When I presented my version of events, and asked for a refund, the owner claimed I did not allow for the girls to finish their work (even though I spent around 4 hours there each time) and my attitude was wrong. I told her she needs to be professional and honest with her clients then they on't get angry. She refused to refund the money.
The conclusion is - the staff at Bamboo do not know how to do BLOND highlights (please judge for yourself) . They ruined my hair knowing that they cannot do what I was asking for. Plus I paid for it and I also received the blame for a really bad service. I mean really? You have ruined my hair! I had every right to go ballistic. Anyway - do not let anybody at Bamboo touch your hair!

I got a massage with Natalie and it was a great experience. Natalie is a very knowledgeable masseuse and I left feeling refreshed. Great veggie smoothie too. Will definitely recommend this place .

The staff here are dishonest thieves, and do poor work. Prices change depending on how they'd like to charge, and perform additional tasks, without asking, in order to charge more. Despite being asked up front several times for prices, they never gave a solid answer, and at the end, expected a payment of over $130 (USD). I would NOT recommend this business to other customers, and WOULD like my money back.

I came here to get a hair treatment (because my hair had turned green) and dye. The treatment cost me 300q They insisted that the treatment would get the green out. When it didn't work, they dyed it. I told them to keep my hair blond with dimension like it was. They gave me a brown color and didn't take out the green. They treated me horribly and unprofessionally. The people at the hostel I was staying at looked at my hair and asked where I went so they wouldn't go there. If you love yourself, do not go here
