Definitely one of the most picturesque streets I’ve ever been on, and this Arch is the main focus. Gets very crowded mid day. I had to wait a few minutes to get some space to take the shot I wanted. And that was still completely filled with people at 9am.

It is a really good place with a beautiful view of the arch, different types of ancient ruins conveniently located around the town for you to walk. There is a lot of security all day and night, a town where you can find different restaurants, with, local food, foreigner food, pubs, snacks, fruit and even wine. Traditional handcrafted wood sculptures and many other things that make Antigua such a gorgeous place to visit, or, if you want, there are a lot of different places for you to stay from a really economic bead and breakfast to something a little bit more expensive.

The arc is beautiful and the places around make a perfect match. It is very clean, comfortable for wheelchairs. There is a souvenir store half block away. If there is no traffic you can get really good shots.

This is the place to be in Antigua. I was very impressed by local artists selling very tasteful watercolor paintings here.

THIS IS A MUST STOP PLACE IN ANTIGUA GUATEMALA, A VERY ROMANTIC SPOT WHERE YOU CAN TAKE LOTS OF PICTURES LOCATED WALKING DISTANCE FROM THE MAIN PLAZA, NEAR RESTAURANTS, SHOPS AND MANY OTHER POINTS OF INTEREST IN THIS BEAUTIFUL TOWN IN GUATEMALA.

RIGHT NEXT TO THE SANTA CATALINA ARCH YOU CAN FIND A MARKET FULL OF HANDCRAFTED PRODUCTS INCLUDING MASKS, MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS AND MANY MORE, THERE IS ALSO A GREAT ART GALLERY SHOWCASING SOME OF THE BEST ARTISTS AND PHOTOGRAPHY.

It's a pretty arch that has a beautiful church or volcano as the backdrop depending on which side you view it from. Something you can't miss in Antigua.

Prime photo spot in the city and made famous as a landmark in town, a mandatory stop during your visit. Built in the 17th century, it originally connected the Santa Catalina convent to a school, allowing the nuns to pass from one building to the other without going out on the street. A clock on top was added in the era of the Central American Federation, in the 1830s.
