Love love love this place! Had a great trek up Fuego. Tyler, our guide, was amazing. They provided supplies we didn’t have and made sure everyone was well prepared for any unexpected weather. While it’s impossible to control Mother Nature, we sure had a great view with perfect conditions. The OX team was professional and very experienced. They provided great meals and libations. Already trying to book my next trip with OX!

Great tour operator for the Acatenango volcano. I bit more to pay, but you get good equipment and a good English-speaking guide!

Great hostel that provides a free night to bike Packers on Warmshowers. They offer a number of wonderful tours as well. I definitely recommend Acatenango, it's difficult but worth every step up the volcano

Did the sleep over acatenango hike with Ox. Everything felt professional and safe. The only thing I actualy miss on the hike was history of the montains or surroundings. Also it prices were almost 5x times the price charged on some hostels of the region.

I had an amazing time with OX. The guide Lando was really helpful and supported everyone in the group. Everything was taken care of like it should be when you book a tour. There was nice food and drinks, the guide knows his stuff and the tents where good. The hike was not easy but it was really awesome. We got to see fuego erupt several times. I really 100% would reccomend OX due to there professionalism and knowledge of the area.

Fun trips, the "moderate" bike trip should really be for people who have done mountain biking previously not those who have done only road cycling

The casual environment of this hostel is just what you need before the hike up Acatenango. This overnight hike was the most physically demanding hike I've ever experienced. The guide was helpful in sharing fun facts and preparing you mentally. An experience like this is not to be missed. Thank you for the adventure OX!

Friendly staff. Loved the fact that they have a "netflix cave". Sometimes you just want to relax and watch a movie.
Breakfast for free but every day the same (beans eggs and bread) after one week you crave for something else!
They offer tours with professional guides.
