Solid Italian food. What we had didn't stand out, but was fine. A nice sangria, decent garlic bread. I had the eggplant lasagna, in which lasagna noodles are replaced with eggplant slices. The menu says this is baked with vegetables, but I couldn't detect any other vegetables besides the eggplant. Extremely cheesy (some will find this a plus; I would have liked more veggies). My husband's seafood risotto was acceptable. He was surprised how fishy it was throughout; sometimes you get a seafood risotto where the seafood is stirred in last minute so that the risotto part is more neutral and cheesy, with pops of seafood (which he would have preferred).
I felt bad for the waitress who was the only wait staff we could see (we couldn't see into the next room that well). We felt she must have too many tables to handle. She was very friendly and wanted to please. We just went long periods without seeing her and especially when we wanted the check so we could leave. After what we thought was about 10 minutes I checked my phone and it was another 10 minutes.response / report this review -

The food is so so, and the interesting point is the slogan on the wall !

The best Italian food I have had in Guatemala. The service is wonderful and the owner, Claudio makes you feel at home as soon as you walk through the door. The pasta is fresh, the sauces are delicious. It is a must do in Antigua.

Good authentic Italian Restaurant and excellent food at affordable prices.
The friendly owner Claudio even gave us a ride back to our hotel room.
We can highly recommend this cozy, friendly restaurant with a nice atmosphere.

An Italian home in Antigua. Great gluten free options for both pasta and pizza. Claudio is careful to separate his wheat pastas and gluten-free options. Knowledgeable and former resident of Italy. Great food and service.

One of the best Italian food restaurants in town if not the best!!!
I tried the lasagna with loroco and it was out of this world. The service was excellent the food incredible and surprisingly affordable.
Don't forget to try their tiramisu for dessert. Wow, wow, wow.!!!
