It was the worst hostel I’ve been so far in Guatemala, Dorm bed are cheap (that’s nice) but you could also sleep on the floor. You have to pay extra for a pillow and a blanket.
The water is dirty so swimming is not really nice. Showers are dirty and toilets generally don’t have toilet paper. No sink in the hostel had soap
The restaurant is ok.
It is located right next to the bridge, and sometimes the traffic is quite annoying.

We [backpacking couple] stayed here for one night before moving on to Livingston. It was mid-week so no noisy music, only trucks crossing the bridge until around 11pm. 120Q for double room. It was fine, plus the 9.30 boat to Livingston picked us up from the hotel as we finished breakfast - super convenient. WiFi was crappy. Bring ear plugs!

It's an okay place to stay at for the most part; the only issue is concerning noise (considering it becomes very noisy from the nearby bridge and music.) If you require or would at least appreciate a quiet space, then avoid this place. Along with that, you have the nearby resturaunt which provides easy access for food of most occasions. Other than that, you are essentially getting what you paid for.

Don't stay here. I'm not just talking about this hostel but the whole town of Rio Dulce, do yourself a favour and go straight to Livingston. If you do find yourself stuck here and can't be bothered finding anywhere else to stay like what happened to me then you can expect terrible music all night, paper thin walls, a mattress that is harder than the floor with no pillow, expensive food with terrible service and 8 quetzales to fill your water bottle. Good luck but don't say I didn't warn you.

Didn't stay overnight. Just walked over the bridge for dinner. Went off of a friend's recommendation and it was great. Dinner right on the water

Nice view around with that special feeling under the bridge. Who's searching for a quiet place is definitely at the wrong place. At the weekend they have loud music till 1am and the loud trucks on the bridge don't let you sleep well. The accommodation is to expensive for what they offer and there is no private sphere because of the thin wood walls!

Very budget place with basic bed and most of beds are used up so not comfy at all. Noise during the Fay and during the night since its under the transit bridge 16 beds in dorm and just 4 lockers. We got some bedbugs I don't know if due to other backpackers or due to dirty sheets. Apart from bedbugs it's cheap and ok for 30q

Had the dorm to myself for 3 nights. Ultra basic. Noisy. Staff shouting at 3am this morning. Staff certainly need customer service training. Cheap though. Not seen any vermin. Traffic noise but that's everywhere here. Birds on the tin roof. Coffee is awful.
