We wanted to experience our honeymoon in naturist resort. And we are happy we spent it at Vritomartis.
If you are an experienced naturist, you have a beach nearby for naturist only and the resort is greatly equipped. If you are a first time naturist, this is an incredible and wonderful place to start.
We booked Eleftheria suite and it was worth it! Great sea view, luxury details and the cleaning was daily and on point. Had coffee (Krups), tea and water at our disposal daily. And a complimentary wine bottle. Laundry is also free for the suites. We used it and the clothes were very nice cleaned and folded.
The room is perfect for relaxing or a romantic setting. You have a dedicated jacuzzi which is cleaned and works well. The thing I loved the most was the outside shower.
The food is tasty as expected. At dinner there are lots of salads, vegetarian options, one soup, warm meals (grilled fish, roasted chicken, pork, even rabbit one night) and delicious deserts.
The breakfast was ok, was expecting better coffee. But we had it in the suite so it didn’t affect us. For lunch I recommend pita with tzatziki and greek salad. Fresh and very delicious!
If you want to try grilled octopus or more sea food, you can go to Loutro or Hora Sfakion.
They have great activities, from hiking to darts competition, painting etc..And after dinner there is always something happening: live singing, Cretan night, dj-ing, there is always some form of entertainment. They also have a room with ping pong and billiard, which we used as an after dinner fun activity.
If you want to rent a car, do it before arrival. They go out fast. Else you have a shuttle minibus to take you to Hora Sfakion or to the naturist beach.
The personnel is friendly and helpful when needed.
We definitely recommend this resort, it was an excellent choice for us and our needs.response / report this review -

A relaxing break with 1st class facilities. Staff are friendly and helpful. The food is of the highest standards with a varied choice suitable for all tastes. The only downside is the road trip from Hereklion airport to the hotel which is long and very winding.

First of all i have mention deserts for dinner. I have never in my life ate so good deserts. Priceless really.
In general all staff is very very nice, food is tasty and the resort all inall is great. The pool is big and clean. The rooms are spacious and clean. The amneties like tennis, darts, table tennis are in good condition. I highly reccomend everything but specially the staff and a vibe here. You feel welcome.response / report this review -

Top resort everything to perfection, from the rooms that were comfortable and clean, the food to the pool. it seems they have invested a lot in the travelers experience we will definitely be back again!

If you want to spent time in a place where your holidays will be perfect, I advise you to do it in a place where the staff are well treated. I can say for sure that this hotel, Vritomartis does not comply with this treatment.
While we looked for a professional behavior, Vritomartis has instead opt for a disgusting behavior, while some part of a recruitment process were at the border of being illegal regarding European laws.
Such behavior has made people, wanting to work for this hotel, lose several money (and precious time) in planes, bus transfers to then be treated like nothing : the management of this hotel lacks humanity, we can say for sure.
So please, fellow travelers, if you want to spend nice holidays, do it in a place where the staff is happy to work everyday, is monthly and on time paid. Go somewhere else. This hotel does not merit you.response / report this review
