The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect as it was close to so many sights and had a great view from the rooftop restaurant. The room was comfortable and clean. The only downside was the noise from the traffic in the morning, but that's to be expected from the location

Ineffective sound proofing in bedroom lets this hotel down; in all other respects this was a great place to stay. Fabulous views. Very clean throughout, although looking a bit tired in places. Staff very friendly and helpful. Well stocked mini bar. 3 numeric code digital room safe, that was easy to use. Air con very effective and straight forward to use. No balcony furniture, but room has a chair and stool that can be taken out. Shops, sites of interest, local restaurants, public transport are all within easy walking. Short bus/metro ride to the coast.

We recently stayed for 2 nights at Athens Gate. The accommodations were excellent. The rooftop bar was incredible. There could not be a more beautiful view of the Acropolis at night! The food was incredible. The breakfast was very good also. We mostly ate all meals on the rooftop bar.

I would highly recommend Athens Gate.

Reasonably priced. Good location. Great views from the roof. It's not the four seasons but it's nice enough if you're trying to do some athens sight seeing.

The staff work so hard at the hotel. Full service customer service for arranging day trips and car services. Delicious breakfast every morning and a beautiful view of Hadrian's temple to Zeus. Clean and quiet rooms.

Amazing hotel. We stayed here on our honeymoon and spent each night gazing on the well lit monuments of ancient Greece. We spent each morning eating the best breakfasts buffet you could imagine. Love it!

The view from the rooftop restaurant is the number one selling point for this hotel. Thankfully the rest of the hotel is nice ass will 👍The hotel is right on a petty central road. All the staff are friendly and helpful. When you first check in for are offered Greek candies and water to drink before a porter takes you to your room. The rooms are smallish but are nice and have had a recent upgrade. We booked our room with the breakfast buffet as there is nothing like waking up and eating with a view of the Acropolis every morning! I would also recommend having one dinner at the hotel, again, for a nighttime view.

Our first stay was awesome. Friendly staff, our room had a great view. Unfortunately, the second stay wasn't so good but this hotel is located in one of the best locations in Athens. It was definitely a good option, especially to first time visitors.

The hotel is lovely, the rooms are clean and bright with great views. The roof top bar has amazing views all around! The food is good and the free breakfast has a great selection. The only negative thing I have to say is that on the 3rd night I went to the roof top restaurant and asked for a table for one. The waitress was snooty and told me to wait to see if they could seat me, there were only two tables taken, the rest were open. She then asked me it I was going to order anything! What the hell!?!? I came for dinner each night, ordered wine, appetizer and a main corse.

A fantastic hotel, location superb but greatly let down by the abysmal and terrible WiFi (1/10). Breakfast is okay but boring after two days due to limited options. You will not find a more professional staff! And the housekeeping is the best I have ever seen they were extraordinary. Highly recommend this hotel
