In the outer CBD. Occasional free shuttle into the city centre. Good service by the staff. The room was a good size and comfortable.
A great location if you are looking for some peace and quiet and a few local restaurants nearby. All the action is just about a 1.5 miles away, plenty to do right around the area after you have seen all that Athens has to offer. I love the roof top bar and pool.
Like this hotel. Clean rooms and great stuff members. Western style morning buffet offers Greek foods and common breakfast foods. Relaxing swimming pool and bar at the top of the building offers a nice view of Parthenon. Some good restaurants on Antinoros street that is just beside the hotel. A few of good super markets are within a quick waling distance.
The rooms are very noisy, breakfast is way too expensive and the gym only opens at 10 o'clock during the weekend :O
The room was good. The breakfast was too awesome. You wouldn't have enough time to taste all the dishes. Each one tasted to the best.
The rooms were a bit dated but that's the only no complaint. It was clean and the staff were excellent. The location is also really nice, with lots of great eateries nearby.
The hotel was really nice and clean and the staff was pleasant. The location was fantastic for authentic food as there is a bunch of amazing restaurants literally around the corner. If you are looking for the downtown / city centre experience be prepared to walk or take a cab as it is a little far from the main attractions of the Parthenon and the amazing area of Plaka.
Nice amenities. We went up on the roof (pool area) to catch the sunrise over the Acropolis. Stayed here twice. Efficient. There was a reception for the Prime Minister, which made things crowded and increased security.
Helpful staff. Clean facilities, good food. A nice base of operations in Athens. Walking distance to numerous restaurants and cafes. Good wifi.
When we have checked in the extremely friendly receptionist told me that they have offered us an upgrade. And what an upgrade! We got the executive suite with Acropolis view. Let me tell you this was just a superb surprise.
The roof-top pool, so they told us heated, was really pleasant unlike in many other hotels. I dislike cold water but enjoyed the time with the kids.
The restaurant was surprising us as well. We expected a decent diner but it was a very good diner. Try their lamb chops, seared to the perfection. Crunchy cooked veggies, fresh mash and tasty sauces.
Their wine list is as well quite good. The only point was that their choice from Santorini was fair but not impressive.
Turn-down service was really good, in particular as they have changed all slippers we have used for the swimming pool. Not many hotels actually do this.
Staff throughout the was always helpful, very attentive and kind. This lets overlook that the hotel is not a super modern. But if you like the noblesse line, you will definitely feel like at home.
Thanks Divani, you really made the difference to our stay!
Pretty nice for a renovated hotel. But they need to work more on the restaurant varieties
Beginning to be a little dated but was lovely. The food was wonderful and plenty of it.
The staff were very helpful also but the drinks were a bit on the dear side.
A well known hotel in Athens mostly for its use as a testing center for language diplomas. As a hotel its rooms are old less impressive than what you would expect for the price. Its location is good. Near metro station Evangelismos.
- Taxi cannot be included on the bill - very bad for those on a business trip as most taxis will not take credit cards.
- Paid safe deposits, and they make you sign a paper if you don't buy a safe deposit whereby the hotel is not responsible for any loss / theft in your room
- do not do takeaway breakfasts for guests who leave early in the morning. Leaving early - tough luck - stay hungry.
I'm a frequent visitor to Athens for work, but will not be staying in this hotel, will look for alternative options. I would not recommend to stay in this hotel.
