The hotel does not reply to emails or faxes - I sent at least 5 messages between September and November and the hotel didn't respond to any of them. A request for a room with a bath was ignored. Upon request for a room with Acropolis view, the receptionist said that the hotel doesn't have this kind of rooms. But they're selling this king of rooms! Also they don't honor Diamond status in Best Western Rewards program - I've received nothing. Also receptionists rarely smiles, they're very sad.
The rooms are very small and poorly equipped. The rooms are not modern. Besides, the rooms are dark - they have only one small window in the corner of the room and it's with view to other building. Privacy in the room does not exist, because the bathroom door can't be lock - it's sliding like in wardrobe. Our group rented three "Standard Room" rooms (103, 307, 407) - all were different, but each one was weak and poor. In one of the rooms the sink was next to the bed and there wasn't in the bathroom - madness, crazy!
The beds were comfortable, towels and toiletries bearable. The breakfast was quite fine but there was no choice for vegans and very limited for vegetarians.
It's a hostel or a 1* hotel. Definitely doesn't deserve for 3* and doesn't meet the requirements of Best Western.response / report this review -

Very nice hotel with a splendid location in the center of Athens. Obviously it can be a bit noisy during the night but it's manageable. The standard room we were in was a bit small but still enough room.

Great hotel that's really close to the subway station. Highly recommend staying here is you're coming to Athens. Walking distance from the Akropolis and Pantheon as well!

Hotel is very clean and so we're the rooms. Beds were comfy and the bathroom was spacious with good water pressure. Breakfast had plenty of variety and was very tasty.
