  One of 3 dessert area in Europe. One in Poland, one in Serbia (Deliblato) and it's third, about 80,000 square meters. Very interesting.

  Supposedly only two places in Europe have deserts and this is one. Not much to do except look at sand and walk around. It's close to a beach too so not a total loss.

  A small Sahara on hills. Something you don´t see everyday in Greece or anywhere else in Europe. It´s definitely worth a visit.
