Amazing guide who is very knowledgeable about the history of Gibraltar and the Neanderthals. Beautiful views!

FYI, a web search for "Gorham's cave tour Gibraltar" brings up various agencies that offer tour trips to the caves.

The guide, Phil Smith, is very knowledgeable and gives an accurate and enjoyable talk covering the Rock from its creation millions of years ago, to the first inhabitants of the sea caves, the Neanderthals, into modern humans and the use of the caves as shrines by much later Phoenicians. However, considering the amount of research and number of papers produced as a result, there is a surprising lack of information on display at what should be an interpretation centre. There is limited car parking at the site and services but no refreshments. The price of £5 per person is therefore a bit excessive since it does not include a visit to the caves themselves.
