Just a short distance from the bus stop, the 100 Ton Gun is worth a visit. There is a small display in the guns buildings and then on top is the gun itself. The view is really good.

A bit of a walk to get to (of course you can always take one of the excellent and frequent local buses) but well worth the effort. Fabulous views over Algeciras Bay and the coming and goings of an amazing variety of ships plying to and fro with fast ferries from N Africa and elsewhere threading their way through. And of course the huge gun which required major engineering to drag it through the streets and into position : rather sadly because newer guns with better technology rendered it almost obsolete as soon as it became operational.
