Catering specifically for dive n surf. This resort is located in the middle of the coral coast, with not much else around it except mangroves & rainforest.

Everything is basic but good. Food, rooms with aircon, hot water and general area with a pool.

Best part is the people and staff, whom went out of their way to support me during my 7 day stay.

As a surfer, keep in mind that there can be down days between swell and wind, so unlimited surf package might not be best bet. Rather go half dive half surf if you can, and or go with a room and spend the extra cash on missions to Frigates.

Stayed here to go for the Shark diving at Beqa. The diving was great and well organized even though the waters were a quite choppy on the surface. The dive center was well spacious and organised which helps as you sort / pack your gear. As for the resort, it is quiet and rooms were cozy. We took the panoramic ocean view room and the view was great. The resort also have hanging beds, which are just great for whiling away time. That said, 4 stars from me as they do charge for the internet.

Having stayed in resorts and hotels of all different shapes and sizes, we can honestly say that Waidroka is one of our favorites. The staff were very friendly and helpful--including waiting for us to arrive late in the evening and carrying our small contingent of bags to our respective bungalows.

Although the somewhat bumpy drive from the main highway to the resort was very basic, don't be fooled! Waidroka resort is a hidden gem in Fiji! We would highly recommend it to anyone. We were sad that we only had two nights there, as they had activities each evening and there are limited rooms, so the place isn't too crowded. It was nice to be able to spend time by the pool, without much noise or distraction, and they even have paddle boards and kayaks to use for free!
