Decent resort with very good accommodations and restaurant. Great scenic views from the white sandy beach.

This place ruined our experience of Fiji! Stay one night and you'll probably be fine because you'll just take the poor service for granted but stay here for longer like we did and it becomes apparent this is a horrifically run business!
1. As a guest you are not a priority - cruise ships and the national rugby team clearly bring in more money and that's all Management appear to care about.
2. Checking in was 1.5 hours late with no form of compensation, apology or update. We had to chase to ask if our room was ready.
3. Keep a tally of your bar bill as they tried to charge us an extra $186 on checkout - something they had clearly made up, fortunately we had a log and they didn't have our signature on the 'extra' receipts.
4. The menu isn't what it says any meal you order will have at least a two ingredients missing, which for the price is really disappointing.
5. The massage ladies are lovely but don't be fooled by the marketing, it is definitely not a spa. More of a screened off area next to the bar. When we had our massage some of the locals were noisely drinking at 10am. Not the most relaxing experience!
6. No onward travel information i.e. how to catch the bus. All the staff appear to know is how to phone a taxi (which reside outside in the carpark).
7. Housekeeping staff are slooooww at turning rooms around and don't quite manage to finish the job. We had no toilet roll, missing pillows, someone's Y fronts hanging on the curtain rail and some disused bunk beds lingering outside our room.
8. There are extensive building works currently going on, which are required after Cyclone Winston. Whilst it is necessary we weren't warned when we booked or checked in. Just be prepared for excessive noise between 8:30am and 5pm.
Believe it or not we are not usually fussy with our accommodation but this place really annoyed us. The lack of customer care and service is not like anything we've seen anywhere else in Fiji! I would not endorse staying here, even if you are desperate!

Stayed at this resort for one night, the dorm is very spacious and the beds are comfortable in there. The resort as a whole is very vibrant and spacious. Main bars and restaurants have a good vibe at night and the continental breakfast provided is the best one I had in fiji.

However for lunch and dinner the food is very expensive and not much quality, better restaurants outside of the hotel you can go to. And the power and water shut off randomly in the afternoon when i was using the bathroom. Overall do check out though.

Overall a great place for even a quick weekend unwind. Their manager is quiet hospitable and the grounds team always friendly. Loved our beach bure and very spacious. Just a minor tweak here and there needed, apart from that would recommend.

Friendly people but terrible customer service. And the resort as a whole is cheap standard but expensive. Better off going to Warwick or Naviti for the same price

Love it !! Beachy, breezy, beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. It reminds me of the Rock View Hotel and Resort in Guyana with a similar natural balance to rural accommodation.

Great staff and a lot of fun. The beach is beautiful and the volleyball court welcomes those of us who have never.played the game. A very nice place to relax with a mojito while the kids swim in the pool or the sea.

Awesome place in pacific harbor. We had a beachfront villa and it was surreal. The outdoor shower was lovely and the staff so friendly!!

Perfect stay before a long work trip nearby. Stayed in the dorm lodging and it was large, clean and comfortable. Property is beautiful and in a great location, use of gym, and walking distance to the Arts Village.

If you're less into samey resorts, you may prefer Uprising to the Pearl. Lower key but good food, a beach front bar, and access to a long stretch of beach. Food and drinks a little pricey but facilities clean and welcoming.

Great Staff, Great atmosphere, Fijian food is the best. The accommodation is getting a bit run down externally but much better than the Pearl in regard to enjoyment, service and staff.

A good quality, relaxed resort. The beachfront villa was great, well appointed and clean. The food is good and the staff make you feel welcome. I would recommend this place if you're after a beachfront, relaxed holiday that is very comfortable. You can get supplies about a 10-15 minute walk to Pacific Harbour where there's a few shops and eateries and the beach at the resort is good.

The hotel is probably the best in the area but even if you don't stay here, come by for happy hour - and make sure to try the fresh Kokoda, you won't be disappointed.

The Island Night and Lovo buffet were amazing. The food was delicious, the dancing and music were fun and entertaining, and the scenery was gorgeous. With a great staff and great accommodations the Uprising Resort is a top choice.

Very nice beach and facilities. Buffet was very well priced and food was great. There was also Fiji dancers after the dinner which was amazing.
