Possibly the worst place I have ever stayed. Ridiculously expensive, disgusting food, poor service (with the exception of the lovely woman who cleaned our room), a consistent lack of care and concern, poor quality equipment for activities, mould growing in bathroom. $9 for a coffeeare you kidding me?? See a white face coming and overcharge you for everything. I generally love third world countries because of the people: in Fiji I felt ripped off and exploited. Did I mention the food was completely disgusting??

I was less than convinced withe the Shangri-La. Food was terrible unfortunately and after a week of rain out room smelt damp. Housekeeping was late with cleaning the room, turn down service knocked at 9pm one night when kids were already fast asleep. There is a lot of walking involved as the resort is big which can be annoying if you want to run a little errant. Bar close to room closed at 6pm, sunset bar by the beach at 8pm. The only other venue had TV on and was not inviting at all.
